Huge king size spacious room. It was a handicap room (which I did not request) but glad I got.I was pleasantly surprised.

Had to be in San Antonio due to a death. The hotel was not available the first night, but when I arrived, due to the circumstances, they found a room. Very accommodating. Asked about me several times during the stay. Got me back to the airport in plenty of time.

Really upset with ''tis hotel. It is a nice hotel but they are greedy. I was charged two incidental fees, the original fee and one extra on a card that was used for the purpose of paying for breakfast only (they put the card in file when it should not have been recorded).

The room was big. Looks like the hotel was built recently. Make sure you give taxi drivers the address otherwise they might take you to the older Hilton Garden Inn near airport.

Problem is no free breakfast. But very welcoming Lobby with free drinks.

Walking anywhere on the carpet was the same as walking on concrete. There was no padding anywhere. Also in an attempt to modernize, storage space was reduced.

The hotel could not get the billing correct. Instead of one charge for our stay, we charged two additional times and offered items from their market (i.e. Powerade, granola bars, etc.) as consolation. We ended up being negative in our account due to all the bogus charges and told we'd have to wait 7 business days to see our money refunded. After getting the run-around, we finally got one night compensated for all the trouble. The staff confused us for another couple who also were dealing with transaction issues. A very frustrating experience. Will not book at Hilton Garden Inn again.

The hotel was undergoing renovation. Still, it was comfortable and the staff was pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. I will return.

Comfortable, Clean, Friendly Staff. Hotel was undergoing renovations there were temporary entrances and construction was a little loud at times. Despite the chaos, the hotel lobby was clean and staff was pleasant.

The hotel was under construction which made this stay not the best. The plumbing didn't work for a while, the smoke alarm went on/off in the hallway frequently throughout the night and there was construction stuff everywhere. Staff was nice though. Also hard to find the hotel off the main road.

Best Country Inn and Suites I've ever stayed at. The room was huge and updated. I found the location very convenient. Even with construction going on in the lobby, breakfast was absolutely great and I never heard the workers during my stay. Because I was so pleased, I decided to stay a 2nd night and although the hotel was booked solid, Nina at the front desk helped me to keep my room another night. I will stay here again!

Drove up to hotel, without knowledge that hotel was under construction. Plastic, sheetrock, dust, makeshift lobby. I should have been forewarned before booking this hotel. Beds uncomfortable, pillows flat.

Good breakfasts, with a menu change each day. Very friendly helpful staff! Quiet rooms. The only negative I had was that there was no shower exhaust fan.

I gave a "3" rating for "Hotel Facilities, Condition" only because the lobby and surrounding area are under renovation. Otherwise, as the rest of my scores will show, the stay at Country Inn & Suites was by far the best of the 3 different locations we stayed in while visiting San Antonio (2/8-2/12). The staff, including, but not limited to, April, Yvonne, and Pablo, were the most helpful team of people I've ever encountered on ANY trip, and I've made a few! Sherry, the manager, should be extremely proud of the group of people she has been given the opportunity to lead.

Hotel is being remodeled, so a bit difficult to get around the lobby, entrance area. Otherwise a nice hotel. Large clean room with comfortable bed, nice desk, chair, fridge.

Hotel is changing ownership and name. Had no street signs and address was incorrect, so hard to find. Renovations going on, so elevators were hard to find. Room was fine but fire alarm went off for no reason very loudly for half an hour - had to leave room due to noise. Not many restaurants in the area.

Hotel lobby is under major construction at the moment. Room was comfortable but they placed a rowdy group of guess in the next room that were drinking and partying. I asked for a different room but in order to move I had to be downgraded from my King. It took them 20 minutes to bring up the key for the room change. No apologies to me. They did try to get the party calmed down as I was leaving my first room. They could have handled the situation better.

Stayed four nights, everything was fine. I rated the condition as OK because of the lobby construction.

Alarm clock in the room went off at 0330 AM. I didn't set it. Family including my 18 month old did not appreciate this. Especially because we had to get up at 0530 AM. Other than that room was nice still smelled the fresh paint.
