We appreciated the location—close enough to the San Antonio Riverwalk and the Alamodome, which was a big plus. However, the house, while charming on the inside in photos, didn’t quite meet expectations in person. It’s an older home and when we arrived (on a 90-degree + day), it was very warm inside. It took quite a while to cool down, (9pm) and unfortunately, the vent in the back room didn’t work at all. That room never cooled enough to sleep in, so my sister and her husband ended up sleeping in the living room floor where it was more comfortable. I let the host know right away and sent a photo as requested, even a video, but unfortunately never received any further follow-up. Thankfully, we were only there for one night. Just beware as summer heat in Texas is upon us!
