Sagebrush Caboose
Almost everything will work again if unplugged for a while; have you tried unplugging you?
Out in the wilds of the Okanagan desert, just this side of lost, is a place where you can walk down a serene path to finding you. You will find yourself diving deep into the fresh sage mountain air while enjoying nature, mountain scenery, privacy, and good times.
Our unique place offers a queen size bed in the loft, a kitchenette, full bathroom, dining table, a couch which can be a double bed, outdoor patio, a heated pool (shared), and a hot tub (shared).
One must let nature nurture and our patio will not disappoint. It has four Adirondack chairs, a small table, solar lights, BBQ, and endless views of the night sky.
While the kitchenette is small it is mighty. It has a sink, mini fridge, hot plate, dishes, towels, utensils, outdoor BBQ, and more. Also featured is a dining table big enough for four. Our loft with queen size bed must be accessed using a ladder. The sofa turns into a bed to accommodate two more guests. The bathroom features a hot shower, vanity, and a toilet. Although remote our caboose boasts wifi speeds of 50 mbps.
Come enjoy our hot tub and heated pool! The pool and hot tub area is a shared space with other guests and with host's family. Ask us about reserving a private time at the pool! Our country style welcome has guests coming back. Some enjoy interacting with our animals, our farm produce, flower garden, endless hiking, and more!
Our Caboose is off-grid, relying on solar power (with a generator backup for extended cloudy periods). Connect with your family with basking in the tranquility of a mountain forest retreat!
Search social media for Grasslands Oasis for ideas on what to do and for more photos.
This retreat is located about 10 minutes drive from Oliver and about the same from OK Falls; in the quiet community of Willowbrook.
Sagebrush Caboose is located at our principal residence (large, rural property) and we are always around to assist. Many guests enjoy our local, fresh farm produce. Our farm animals usually love attention, treats, and petting.
The cabin is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a patio, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can expect to find free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a fireplace, a coffee maker, and a desk. Housekeeping is available on request.

Weekend Hideway
We enjoyed the beautiful morning views and peaceful setting. The location is perfect, tucked up in the hills above the road, but easy enough to get to in to town for wine tasting and dining. Host was very responsive when we had a few questions. A
lovely weekend!

Fantastic getaway from the daily grind!
Our stay was incredible! The tiny home is really well built and nice. The owner has created a fantastic space with an outdoor table, grill, and Adirondack chairs. While we were here, we felt like we were so close to nature. I took my son out on numerous hikes around the property and up in the hills above the cabin. The wood burning stove was so cozy and warm and made the house feel like a tiny haven from the outside world. We enjoyed mornings waking up with no power at all, and just the feeling of the wood burning stove warming the house. I would highly recommend this as a getaway place from the bustle and noise of the city!
