Convenience in Richmond
I booked this property because we came in from out of town to visit family and we needed a 3 bedrooms. The house was in a central location for our needs (30 minutes from the airport and 30 minutes from our family in the “country”). The house was functional, clean and the beds slept comfortably. The kitchen was pretty well stocked. The house is not pristine, it has a lot of things that needed finishing....but everything was functional. It did serve our purpose and the owner was helpful with securing a few things (like a blender ) for our needs and was also very responsive to any questions we had. Check in was pretty easy, though I did have to message the owner for the instructions. All in all it met our needs.

Came for my husband's God daughter's wedding.
I came down from Massachusetts with my husband, 3 kids their spouses and 4 grandchildren. The house was just as listed. Plenty of room, clean. Plenty of towels and wash cloths for everyone.
We didn't spend much time at the house, but it was just what we needed!! Beds were comfortable.
I would definitely stay here again!

Great clean space, perfect for a large group!
We were looking for a space to reunite our family for a week during the holidays in Richmond and this 2-story home worked out great. It is spacious and a terrific value if you have a large group of people you are traveling with, particularly kids.
The owner is responsive, attentive, and thorough. As an example, we had an issue with the upstairs faucet during our stay and she had a plumbing service come out to fix it within 24 hours.
The house is clean, has a well stocked kitchen, and comes with plenty of towels, sheets, and pillows. The space was great for our kids and the separate master bedroom worked perfectly for my sister, her husband, and their infant.

A very enjoyable experience!
We stayed here one weekend to visit our family in the Richmond area, and were very pleased. The house and grounds were comfortable, clean, spacious, and well-maintained. The property is conveniently located to a variety of stores and restaurants, and has enough yard space to give some privacy. The owner was very pleasant to deal with and responded promptly to all of my communications. The only thing less than perfect was that the driveway entrance can be a bit tricky to spot after dark. Overall we were very happy with the experience and would gladly to stay here again. Thank you so much for sharing your comfy house with us!

Pretty Good
I had some great and not so great feelings about this property. I am only one person and I always encourage people to "see for themselves" as I tend to do. This is an opinion of MY OWN that is based on MY OWN PERSONAL PREFERENCES as well as actual facts about my stay. I will start with the things I did love and end with the things I did not like so much.
What I DID LIKE was that Charmaine was straight forward about what to expect and what not to expect from her and from the house. She remained honest about her description and information. She was accomodating as she made special arrangements for my family and I. She did not repeatedly show up and gave us privacy. She made herself available if we needed her. She did check in on us at some point without being intrusive. All of her pictures posted are true to form. The wifi works great. Walgreens and restaraunts are close by. The house is really beautiful. If you want a place that is private, clean, spacious, has a working hot tub, and neighbors who won't bug you this place is a good choice!
What I DID NOT LIKE is I went on vacation as a family of 8. 6 children, 2 adults. For those who have children, you will understand my slight discomfort with being in a house for a week with only a broom to clean up after the kids' messes and spills. We had to be in that house and just allow the spills to stay on the floor for days because we only had a broom for the floor. I like to teach my children to leave a house the same way you found it and to respect other people's home so that was a little setback for me. My son, as well as my husband, were bitten by a hornet or yellow jackets that were always present on the porch that we knew nothing about. We had to go to the store and buy a spray to spray the porch so no one else would get bitten. We had to pay a cleaning fee which I feel should only be necessary if you leave a house dirty. Aside from the spill we left the house in good shape so there was not 90 dollars worth of cleaning to be done on top of what we already paid, but I do RESPECT that anyone can make thier own contracts I simply did not LIKE that portion of it. The last thing I did not love was that we had no control over the air conditioner. Charmaine explained that this was due to former clients misuse of the thermostat but I felt a little childish asking her to turn it down or turn it up.
Overall we had a good stay and Charmaine was honest and as accomodating as she felt she should be.
