I can take threadbare fabrics and "pretty" is not needed, but black stuff on the ceiling? I stayed 20 minutes, and walked away from 3 nights pre-paid.
overall pretty good stay. I checked in late the first night the air was off when I checked in so it was really hot in the room and it took two hours for the room to cool down so I could sleep. other than that it was a good stay.
When I was asked for my cell number, I should have seen the warning lights. Then, when I was told to call if my "card" wouldn't work, Warning Number 2, walked back toward desk (raining), was tolled "you go back", strike 3. Was let in by someone from "around the corner", room was attempted to be remolded, (by 3 blind mice). slept enough to get back on the road.
-They charged me TWICE for just 1 night! -I had an extended checkout, and they continued to knock, call, and harass me... -WiFi didn't reach my room -Treacherous conditions as my room was next to a construction site! STAY AWAY!!!
The availability of a non-smoking room, easy access to shopping in the area, special prices, helpful service, and gracious accommodations made this a great place to stay!
You can usually rely on Super 8 being a good basic decent place to stay for a reasonable rate. This property does fall short overall-it is getting run down and needs updating. The good: sheets were clean, pillows decent, bathroom clean, plenty of hot water and the AC so cold we had to turn it down. The mattress was very firm but ok. No sign of bedbugs and believe me we looked. Had a refrigerator and microwave but we did't use them. Wifi was adequate. The bad: top sheet on one bed had a cigarette hole burned in it as well as the bedspread. Both bedspreads horribly stained and maybe dirty-you didn't want to touch them because you weren't sure. Towels were mediocre and rough. The shade on one of the lamps was all broken up with chunks missing out of it. Unsure of cleanliness of carpet-we kept flipflops on. Overall needs repainting, maintenance of wear and tear and updating. The night we stayed in June 2017 was a Friday and the place was just noisy. I was awakened at midnight by loud talking people outside and also in a room next to us. For the money I would probably look elsewhere next time and get a better nights sleep. It was ok for just my husband and I as all we needed was a shower and a place to sleep on the way to the beach. I would not stay here if I had children. Mexican restaurant next door within walking distance was good. No idea if any kind of breakfast was offered.
We arrived late and were directed to our room. On first look, things appeared to be fine. It was very late, so I headed to the shower. I found a huge hole in the wall above the shower. There were stains on the spreads. We didn't sleep on or under these. The only reason we chose this hotel was because we were only going to be here a few hours while traveling to Florida. So I decided not to complain. The next morning I was hoping for a free breakfast to make things better. Unfortunately, the chairs were up, there were empty eggo boxes on the floor, the room smelled, and there wasn't any food. My suggestion is stay here if you just need a cheap room.
This property is certainly not what I would expect of a Wyndham group member. Shabby appearance grassy areas overgrown shrubbery/trees unkempt
With over 40 years as a professional traveler, this was the worse motel ever. Filthy and worn out, inside and out.
Housekeeping consists of a grocery shopping cart being pushed around. Housekeeper (the older lady) told me to take out my own garbage. She was rude and inconsiderate. She got into trouble one of the days we were there for not cleaning our room at all and she proceeded to come to our room and bless us out (in a very loud tone) because management spoke to her about it!! The only pleasant, friendly employee at the place was a man named Felito at the front desk in the afternoons. Do Not Stay Here!!!
