i like the rooms beautiful, pools. The food is good but need more varied in the buffet

The electricity in the room kept giving us problems (we would be moving in the room and the lights and air would turn off various times as much as 10 times in a period of 1.5-2 hours. We called front desk and they said that they would send someone and so they did. In two occasions actually. The first time noting was done and since the problem kept occurring we called a second time and that’s when the technician came and after almost 49 minutes of tweaking the system, it lowered from 23 degrees to 17. We went to sleep and about 2 hours in, the air became hot once again. It was really really hot. We woke up sweating in the night hot. We left the room early and called in regards to the problem and left for breakfast and the pools. We arrived at 9:30 AM to breakfast. When we got there, my daughter requested orange juice, but we were told that there was no more. So, all inclusive but no ORANGE juice... well you know this CAN happen, so we just kept our way. We also asked for kiwi since we had seen it, but when asked we were told, there is no more. But, our ordeal was just beginning. Saturday was my birthday, so my husband called and asked if a little cake or muffin or cheesecake could be sent along with a candle so I could celebrate my birthday in the commodity of our private pool. We were told that this was just not possible from the get-go. There was no “let’s see what we can do”; “we’ll do our best to help you”. NOTHING. Full review in the Trip advisor page. The resort is great. Staff is attentive and caters to your needs. They really need to work on the food. A couple of the spots are ok but overall was not impressed.

This is a brand new property that is probably exceeding your average all inclusive resort.

I would have given the property excellent all around, however I have to mention a few things. First of all the restaurant selection is limited, especially if you stay longer than five days. The Italian restaurant was our least favorite as the staff was not friendly and the food was not good as well as the wait time for service was long.

Resort is about one years old so it’s still new and not abused. Staff is trying to keep it that way by constently cleaning and maintaining the facilities. Seems like there were enough worlkers there to do the job. Entertainment is dated and basic comparing to some other resorts. They still do tribute to Michael Jackson...

Our family just spent 6 days in Royalton, My overall experience rate is good. The resort is relatively new, room is clean and in the comfortable size. There are 24 hours room service available, however the food choice is very limited. There is private beach in the resort, but the size of beach is small and crowded. The pic on the ad is diamond club swimming pool, needs to pay extra to access diamond club facilities. It is said that there are 9 restaurants in the resort, foods are fresh and well cooked, however, some restaurants only open at nite,and some restaurants are almost impossible to get the seats, example the Steak House because the diamond club members have priorities to make the resevation for diamond club members. Next time, I will try different resort.

The resort itself is beautiful and has just about everything you need. The hotel staff was incredible, they made us feel home and comfortable at all times. Would definitely recommend.

A MAGICAL RESORT. BUT THE RESORT NEEDS MORE ACTIVITIES AND SHOWS BECAUSE AT NIGHT TIME IS NOT MUCH TO DO.

Very large hotel pretty grounds keeping amazing views...disappointed with the butler diamond service and the staff in general they don’t know where they are standing you ask the staff a question the typical answer is I don’t know and they walk away.....the doctor they have in the hotel is a rat he wants to get pay before he puts a bandaid on you no integrity or compassion from that doctor when my niece got into an accident in the pool !! Besides all this negatives the hotel itself is amazing !!!

The Royalton Bavaro is a magnificent and beautiful hotel. Upon arrival checked in with the hotel was very confusing and the staff was not prepared. We had ordered two rooms for our family and they only had one room available for us and spent The next two hours looking for a room For us. My wife and I have done a lot of traveling in our time. The Royalton Bavaro was one of the most cleanest well-maintained and staffed hotels we have visited. Their staff was exceptional, the spa was unbelievable, and the food was Excellent Especially at the Oceanside restaurant. Their buffet restaurant offer of a great variety of things for just about everyone. Their beef restaurant which everyone raved about offered mesquite smoked meat which was very overpowering and that a big favorite for our family. They are Hibachi Grill was fabulous but took all week to get a reservation. My family all raved about this and said this was the best restaurant at the resort. The hotel really needs to work on arrivals and departures. Everyone who shows up at this hotel has a long week to get their rooms even with five or six people behind the reception desk just seems that they’re totally confused. When we were departing we had made reservations the night before to pick up our luggage they were almost 40 minutes late and we almost missed our departure because of them. Other than a few minor staffing issues the Royalton Bavaro is a fabulous destinations for families.

We visited the resort for our honeymoon- after looking at reviews, I was a bit skeptical. However, upon arriving I was pleasantly surprised. Diamond club Check in was a breeze- we arrived early and our room wasn't ready, so we decided to grab a bite to eat at Scores. Service and food were both good. We then walked to the beach. I was a little disappointed by the amount of seaweed- but this is not fault of the resort! They do work hard to keep the beach area very clean! The pools and pool bars were very nice. When we got to the room I was a bit disappointed with the clean. I found a good amount of hair in the tub and in the corners. I notified the front desk, but didn't get the situation resolved immediately. That evening I ran into our housekeeper and she gladly fixed the problem. Our butler was Nelson. He was fantastic and would find us during the day to make sure we were enjoying ourselves. He was great at communicating with us and making our reservations for the week. He even surprised us with champagne one evening~ ♡ A few other names that stood out was Darlin, Andy, and Felix. They made some great drinks and always provided service with a smile! Service throughout the resort was very good! The employees work very hard- and deserve to be tipped for going above and beyond! We did not encounter one instance of bad service. Our favorite restaurants were Zen and Hunter steakhouse. We were not really impressed with food at Oceanside, but service was good.

We make a reservation at Royalton Bravaro for 5 night sharing with my wife and my two children of 3 years and 6 months. Our trip was especially to relax, to celebrate the anniversary with my wife and to clear our mind because in 45 days my youngest son was operated and we were very stressed. We contacted the hotel 2 days before arriving to inform them that we needed 2 queen beds and that they would prepare the room because it was our anniversary. We asked for a crib and they told us that they were not available. We brought our crib from Miami because they told us they did not have it. On June 19, 2018 when we arrived at Royalton Bravaro at around 4pm they told us that the room was not ready so they made us wait until 6:30 pm. I personally spoke with Mr. Joseph from the front desk and gave him $ 30 dollars to make sure everything was fine! When they gave us room 14407, it only had a king bed and a sofa bed, it was not prepared as it had been requested, it was dirty, the empty bar fridge, the sheets with holes, the towels stained, stained glass, the balcony was very dirty with glass glasses on the floor. It was not the room we had booked at Orbitz. We automated with the hotel to report what was happening but nobody answered our request for help. After spending a good time trying to ask for help, my wife had to clean the room as much as possible because nobody answered us.This is a long bad experiencie... no remomended this resort...

On the other Hand, Our Executive Chef works hard to make an extensive and varied menu of luxury dishes, and generally achieves this goal for all our guests. However, we understand that tastes are individual and that not everyone enjoys the same type of food.
