Our family came down to spend Thanksgiving near my brother and his family. The house is well equipped and as advertised, but in need of a deep clean. We found several dead lizards and frogs around the house and it had a musty smell. More troubling were the holes in the cage around the pool-an animal was getting in every night leaving droppings by the back door we had to clean daily.
The management company was what made this a disaster. We heard from multiple people with conflicting messages, the most comical being notified on our last full day that we were approved for an early check in. The house didnt have power to many of the outlets, including all the bathrooms, which made getting ready impossible for some in our group. The washer also didnt have power. I'm guessing the issue was the fuse box, which was in the locked garage. I reached out many times to Evolve, the property manager, and got the run around. Finally, on Thanksgiving, the property maintenance guy called to say hes not in the area and its Thanksgiving, so "what did I want him to do." If I owned the property I'd be livid by the poor communication from this management company.
