The kitchen was very well equipped, so much so that the utensils and dinnerware occupied so much of the cabinet space that there was no room for any food storage.The hot tub is an inexpensive one but the one is the main building is very good. the indoor pool was nice and warm; the outdoor pool was closed. Along with the lack of food storage space, the bathrooms had almost no space for hanging clothes or towels. the use of pine gives the cabin a very rustic look with the feeling you are really in the mountains.

Kitchen was good , hot was ok, small . But mother doesn’t do stairs and the bedroom was to be on ground level, no bedrooms on main floor, upstairs shower leaked first shower from upstairs thru to the kitchen underneath, no hot water in the basement shower , we think maintenance responded with the hot water but no notes were left or commutation was left about either so we never used the upstairs shower. Not very convenient. The stay was ok for the short trip . We even choose to leave the night before due to showers and beds very uncomfortable.

If you’re planning on sleeping at night this isn’t the cabin for you. The upstairs bedroom stayed HOT no matter how low you turned the air down. Not to mention the hard mattress, tossed and turn all night. The next night we decided to take the downstairs bedroom and give our girls the upstairs. It was cooler down stairs, however the bed wasn’t much better but on top of that, the air returned (I think that what it was) is in the bedroom beside the bed. So there was NO sleep that night either due to the noise. We ended up leaving very early Sunday morning, just so we could come home to get some rest. Not much of a vacation staying at this cabin, if you’re looking to get some rest. FYI.

The office staff was wonderful, and quick to help when our cabin didn't have linens available for the pullout couch. They were also very helpful in getting us discounted tickets to Dollywood. The cabin was large enough for each of our grown children to have their own space, and the location was very convenient to area attractions. Being off the main strip should have made for quieter and more restful nights. Unfortunately, our rental neighbors were not on that train and it made sleep challenging. Our cabin was a duplex, and our neighbors arrived back late each evening and were incredibly loud (shouting, slamming doors, etc). Then on our last night, the cabin just behind us had new tenants that spent a great deal of time in the evening shouting to each other from the cabin to the driveway. The cabin had an incredible abundance of kitchen utensils and tools, but was lacking in many practical items that are typically common in most VRBOs such as kitchen towels, dishwasher detergent, and basic condiments. The beds (all of them) were the least comfortable we've ever experienced- the king mattress in the primary bedroom was incredibly hard, and the downstairs bed not much better. The living room furniture was very worn and in rough shape and uncomfortable. We enjoyed our vacation, but would probably seek other accommodations if we return to the area. Additionally, the check in procedure was the most complex and cumbersome we've ever encountered.

Great log cabin

The cabin was in a resort, which was very nice. Plenty of room and space for everyone to spread out. The pool and hot tub were a plus. We had a good time.

Beautiful Cabin

The property is easily assessible. 3 floors of cabin living . Loft space with balcony overlooking the cabins is quiet and so peaceful. The basement has alot of space. Hot tub off the main floor is nice and spacious . Would definitely stay at this propert again

Nice cabin for the price.

Overall stay was great. Only bad part is that the pull out couch in the living room has mold on the mattress, so we had to change sleeping arrangements. Futon and other pull out were also not very comfortable. Furniture needs updated ASAP but we would probably stay again.

Everything was amazing the only down fall was the sofa bed in the living area looked moldy when we opened it so one had to sleep on the couch. Another down fall is the lack of trash bags in the cabin. But overall our stay was amazing and would definitely stay again!

Family vacation

Nice cabin for a family getaway. Really enjoyed the downstairs & upstairs levels for privacy. Only downside to the downstairs & upstairs bathrooms are the tubs, these are not for elderly people, to get in and out of. There is a walk-in shower on main level though. Indoor pool & hot tub is a plus for cool days, & enjoyed the ping pong table in game room. Also has a fitness room for those who like to workout. Not far at all from attractions & no scary roads to cabin 😁

Our stay at Big Bear Way

The location was great. Everything was very accessible. The cabin was ok, but in serious need of Updating. The bath tubs almost need a ladder, a serious inconvenience for elderly guest. It would also be nice to have decent dishwashing liquid. My family took a flight in and we were unable to get delivery until the next day, the dishwashing liquid supplied is so cheap, the dishes don't even feel Clean. Not even soapy enough to remove the greasiness from our take out. I don't think I would choose this cabin again.

This is a very clean property and easy to get to. The kitchen was supplied with everything needed. Had plenty of parking and was a quiet area.
