It was ok, small room no much to say it is expensive for the type of room we got..

We had an enjoyable, quiet stay. The staff were particularly attentive and friendly, eager to please.

They are rude there and over charge for everything. $30 resort fee per night for absolutely nothing!!! Booked this room 30 days ago for a special occasion and paid $289 for 1 bedroom and asked for a good view and upper floor. At the time of check in they were selling the same room $169 per night and they put me in a bad location on the second floor and would not refund my money either. I will NOT go there again.

Clean and comfortable rooms. Excellent service from the whole staff, specially from the Bellboys. Magnificent views from every angle of the resort.

Stayed at the hotel for free 10000 maniacs concert at the outdoor theatre. Literally walked out the door to the grass and enjoyed the evening. Awesome!!

We had a lovely time at this resort. Everyone was really friendly and the room was great. The jetted tub was a nice perk and the pool area was a lot of fun. The only thing that was disappointing was the shower (I love showers) the temperature was never stable it was either scalding or freezing. I tried various things to fix this but it didn't work.

Went up for a romantic couples getaway. Stayed with 2 other friends. Overall, my experience was good. The room was awesome. Very spacious and clean. Main Street was cool, as well as the Olympic park. I recommend doing the alpine slide and extreme zip line at the Olympic park. My only complaint was Tim, one of the valet guys. He was on duty on two separate occasions that we needed help. He was very rude both times. Aside from being flat out rude, he spoke to us in a very condescending manner and tone. I was very upset and voiced my concern to one of the other valet guys, to which he just shrugged his shoulders. Other than that, all the other staff were friendly and very helpful.

Our family has a little tradition of going to the Grand Summit every August. We love it there. The rooms are spacious and very very clean! The staff is efficient and friendly. Our kids love the pool and hot tubs. The only thing that would make our stay a tiny bit better is to have a few children friendly restaurants on the property.

This is a great hotel for a family of five or more. The room with a king sized bed, a sitting room, and a kitchen is nicely configured for two adults and three children. Each child will have his or her own bed. There is a full kitchen. The location is ideal. Ski in and out with a ski check at the back of the hotel. Skiing at the Canyons was awesome. The majority of the runs are blue; there a only a few green runs but the learning area is very nice. The mountains at the Canyons are also loaded with black runs for more advanced skiers. I rated the hotel five stars because of the value.

I'm not sure this is actually a 4* hotel, but as far as ski resorts go, it's definitely 4*.... Staff was friendly and we went at the end of the "off season". Thursday we were almost the only ones in the whole place--and it was very relaxing. Terrific view facing the mountains. We will definitely go back.

This is a very luxurious hotel. The room was amazing. Very modern and comfortable. The only reason I didn't give comfort 5 stars was the climate control doesn't work very well and there wasn't a fan in the bathroom. Other than that though our stay was amazing! It was a little pricey but if we can find a deal, we'll definitely be back!!!

Location of this hotel made it worth the stay however, the room was not as expected. We stayed in a king room and that's all that was in the room, plus 2 VERY uncomfortable chairs. So basically, the only place to sit was on the bed. Plus the bathroom was designed so poorly you had to lean against the toilet to use the mirror. Our room had an adjoining door to a larger suite and you could hear everything that was said in their room. And, unfortunately, the last day we had very, very loud people next to us. It was as if the door was open. The staff at the restaurants were usually rude and unaccommodating. One day we asked to sit on the deck (which was full of people) and was told we were too late to sit out there. So the next day, we arrived right after skiing and asked to sit outside and the hostess said "if you sit out there and then change your mind, we may not be able to get you inside". It was said very rudely. And this was the attitude at most the restaurants in the village. So I would probably recommend this hotel but would warn them about these issues.

Stayed at the Grand Summit for a long weekend of skiing. Nice room, excellent staff and great restaurants.

The staff is first class all the way. There isn't a bad veiw in the resort. The two room suites are a bit on the pricy side, but are in great shape. My only complaints are: 1. The knifes were not sharp 2. One of the refridgerator door shelves was broken 3. Windows could be opened, but without screens 4. Price per night could be more reasonable, especially during off season. No transp to down town - if you want to party, better bring some extra cash for a cab - BTW $20.00 each way 5. Onsite parking is $16/night, unless you like to hike to and from your hotel to gravel lots about a 1/4 mile away. What was great: 1.. THe staff bent over backwards to ensure you did not go for wanting 2. Sumer concerts 3. Close enough to the downtown, but far enough away from the histle and bustle 4. Excellet rooms for family and couples

We had a great vacation at the Grand Summit. The accommodations were perfect; clean, roomy, quiet. There were numerous activities right on-site and even more close by. The staff were all wonderful. The whole family took mountain biking lessons and the trainers were terrific. We would definitely go back.

Hotel was comfortable and well located. Room had plumbing issues and no lights in the bedroom upon arrival. We had requested two rooms adjoining (or least near eachother) but were put on different floors (eventhough the hotel was half empty. The one bedroom suite was spacious.

The hotel was excellent we had a loft and 2 full bathrooms that made it perfect for the family, everyone had their own area if they wanted and we also had room to be together

we went to utah for the first time Jan 12, 2012. the snow was sad...least amount of snow fall for december on record! but they were making snow and we were able to ski anyway. i dont think we were able to get the true "UTAH" ski experience but we made the best of it! the hotel was absolutely amazing!! when we checked in i noticed that we were in a handicap room that only had a shower...i knew i would need a long hot soak in the tub when i got off the slopes. they moved us with no problem. everyone was so nice and so ready to help in every way.

Second time staying at the Grand Summit. I love the access to the skiing right out the door. The hot tubs and pool are great for relaxing after a day of skiing. Only a short drive from Park City where we enjoyed some great dinners and shopping.

The hotel, staff and amenities were very good, but not where did it say they would be under construction and many of the facilities were closed for the fall season. We did enjoy Park City!
