Loved the corner window!

The condo was very nice, and the view of the sunrise was beautiful. I enjoyed my morning coffee at the table there! The condo could use a person to go through it with a screwdriver. The kitchen looks redone, but the drawers are broken. The beds are on wheels and squeak sometimes. Also, the mattresses had foam pads on them to increase softness, but it also made it warm to sleep on. They do not want the A/C temp set below 74! The process for arrival is easy, but they require you to arrive before 9pm, so if there are any delays you can not get into your condo for the night! There are fobs you must carry with you to access the building. It is nice for safety. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but some of these things are good to know before booking.

Overall the stay was fine. One main fact that needs to be addressed is the thermostat. It says not to put below 74 but still the system still freezes over and stops altogether. It was too hot for sleeping. We had to open windows. The other problem we had was with the building. We did not get a remote for the garage and therefore parked up top. The first parking place facing the building is next to a concrete wall that is too low to see when backing out. We damaged our car as many have before us obviously. The wall is all marked up where others have done the same. A couple of bushes planted in that area could help avoid future accidents.

Great location and view

The condo is very dated. Needs painting and carpet replaced or different floors. Blinds were falling off wall I reported upon check in to someone at 800 number never heard back. There is no one to speak with except an 800 number. The view from 11 floor is beautiful and I would rent again.

Great spot for family vacation!

We had a great time with this property. This is the penthouse and is a little dated but still was clean! Only negative is there isn’t a balcony but you can go across the hall to an entire balcony with a beautiful beach view. The twin beds have pull out beds underneath them and the couch pulls out which was great for us. Down in the garage, the unit has storage outside filled with beach toys and chairs and even a tent! The property manager was super helpful. I think we will definitely be coming back to this property. We had a great time! Highly recommend! Not too far from Daytona just a quick car ride.

Great location

The location of the condo is perfect. Quiet part of the beach (no vehicles), heated pool, outdoor shower and secure parking garage. Great views of either the ocean or river from all windows. Only two other condos on the same floor. Giant “clubhouse” with wrap around ocean front balcony is on the same level. The condo is very big and has everything you need including beach towels, toys, washer/dryer, etc. Publix and Dollar Tree are about a block away for anything you may need. Daytona is a quick drive away for the fun, touristy stuff. I will say, if you’re looking for a brand new, totally renovated condo, this is not for you. The building is older and parts of the condo shows it’s age. The one suggestion I would have for the owners would be to replace the carpeted area of living/dining room as it stained. The shower, while older, has great water pressure and plenty of hot water which isn’t always the case at beach front properties. I would definitely stay again. If you are checking in after hours, make sure you have received the detailed instructions from Vacasa as you will need to call their local rep upon arrival to buzz you in the main building. Your key fobs and garage door opener will be in the unit.

Good place for older people but not really family friendly

Th condominium is mainly older people. One of the other condo owners was very rude to us. We were just following one of their many list of rules and they actually got made about that. I’m not saying it’s a bad rental it just isn’t family friendly. More for an older crowd.

Penthouse experience

Thank you for allowing others to experience pain house living in this property. Excellent opportunity to be able to enjoy that lifestyle. The unit was everything it said it was except for the issue with the entrance and the bedding situation. They gave us a code to the door but did not give us entry into the main door of the building which posed a problem since we did not have access to get in to the unit. Something needs to be done about that to allow renters to enter the building. Check in is 4pm and the staff is only there til 1pm. In addition, said that 2nd BR had 4 singles. (Trundles) but there is no way 4 beds could fit in that room with the dresser. Overall, i would stay there again.
