We had a wonderful time! The house is spacious, bright, clean and well-kept. As others have pointed out, some of the furniture is worn but it didn't affect us.Emerald Island Resort is also welcoming and well-kept.The host responded to our questions within minutes.Temperatures were near freezing at the beginning of our stay so the pool heater was ineffective. As ambient temperatures warmed the heat pump was able to maintain pool temp at 92 degrees.All in all we enjoyed ourselves and would stay again.

The house was very big and spacious. Plenty of room for a large family. Great location. Nice, quiet neighborhood. It is close to stores and restaurants, and a quick commute to Disney. The house was clean and tidy. We had a few questions and concerns while we were there, and Michael was very quick to respond and accommodating. I would highly recommend this home to anyone seeking a comfortable and inviting place to stay.

There were 7 of us during our stay! The house was very comfortable for a large group.We throughly enjoyed the pool area. The pool area was very private. It was so quiet and relaxing.The location was ideal! Everything within miles.Michel, our host was just amazing! Communication was excellent. We had a couple of tiny issues that were handled right away. And when I say right away, the dishwasher didn’t work and by the next day lunchtime, a brand new one was installed!Check in and out was seamless and very easy.The only little downfall we found was the bbq. We paid to use the grill for our stay. What we got was a very tiny table top looking bbq that was on legs. It seemed to be old and falling apart. The grill was tiny, so bbqing for our large group took a long time.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It fit my family of 12 just fine, with everyone having plenty of space. We all really enjoyed the pool area. A few notes we made and when these are completed, this home will definitely be a 5 star!Replace master room bed- very loud/crunchy sounding with ANY movement. Not for light sleepers, at all!!Plumbing for master bathroom toilet- very loud when refilling- sounds like it is screaming Replace master bathroom toilet seatLight over shower /tub in master bathroom needs to be fixedFurniture in living room needs replaced-leather couches peelingReplace blinds in dining areaUpdate all shower heads upstairs Replace dresser/ both night stands in room with crib Canopy bed is super low- almost like sleeping on the floor Fridge leaksAir is needed in the garage/game room to enjoy the space Keeping the inside temp set at 75 for June (and beyond) is a little unrealistic for 99 degree days.

Great base for visiting Disney

The property was located on a gated complex about 10 to 15 minutes from the parks and lots of restaurants close by.The house is a good size and has all the amenities we required. It was vey much like the pictures.Communication was great and all our queries were dealt with.We had a slight issue with the pool but it was dealt with quickly.

Good value and location

Lot was nice and private backing up to wooded conservation. Pool was very nice with the heat, and the highlight of the property. Plenty of space to fit a large family, and multiple good sized living areas accommodated well.

Almost 5 Stars!

Everything was as described and the home is quite roomy, offering plenty of space. All amenities and facilities were fully operational and without issue. The furnishings could use updating and are fairly worn. The overall resort was well maintained and the staff is friendly. Communication with the owner was superb! Questions were answered within the hour which is almost unheard of! There were a few things that need attention, and I will address them with theOwner, as they are not worthy of concern in this “public square”. If priced right, we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Property in Nice Community

The process of booking and communicating with the owner/contact was very easy, and the property was as advertised. The community is secure and very well maintained, as is the property itself. The home is terrific for a family and was very close to Disney (7 minute drive probably because of one or two lights). The neighborhood is quiet and the clubhouse was a nice amenity as well. The home is large and includes three full bedroom suites (with washrooms), with a large kitchen and family room area. Though we did not use the pool and hot tub, the pool area is very nice as well with ample seating and shade. Overall a very nice experience in a quality property. My only suggestion is that, while we found the home properly clean, it could use a good deeper clean in a few areas (floors). A nice experience - I would stay here again if returning to Disney/Orlando area. Thank you to the owner.

22 days at this house

Entering through the gate of Emerald Island Resort you are amazed at the beautiful fountains and gardens. As you drive down the tree covered street you are greeted by a family of four cranes dining on nuts. The community is quite and you have no traffic sounds. They have a club house with a pool and free activities you can attend. We enjoyed the 9 hole mini golf several times. The house is on a one way street. Upon entering you see beautiful stair case and a view through the house all the way to the beautiful pool. Each room of this house is staged to perfection. Lots of areas to go and relax. The large fully loaded kitchen is bright and functional if you feel like cooking, as there are lots of restaurants in the area for every appetite. Having a laundry room with a large capacity machine and dryer was convineint . Upstairs was just as great. The only debate on which room you were taking was what size bed you wanted as 3 rooms have full bathrooms. Every room also has a television so no fights for who controls the remote. The screened in pool with hot tub has a waterfall, that along with no neighbours behind make for a tranquil spot. The covered pool deck has ceiling fans to keep you cool and has lot of patio furniture. Lots of room to relax. This place was perfect for our needs, communication with the owner was great, we will definitely be using this location again.

Nice But

The house overall was nice some repairs needed refrigerator wobbles. The A C was my biggest problem downstairs room never got cool enough And my last complaint I needed a house with more rooms downstairs.

Home away from home

We came for a work function and were able to enjoy the area and all the attractions. Being able to come back to a clean and comfortable house was the cherry on top. No issues dealing with other families when we wanted to enjoy the pool. This is our 4th time staying at this house. We will continue renting at this location as it has become our home away from home.

Nice home but the house could use a deep cleaning and multiple minor repairs of the home could make this rental top notch. Examples: King mattresses and linens need replacing. Lanai screening needs replacing. The pool was definitely the hit for this family and I recommend paying extra for the pool heat. Enjoyed the privacy of the pool area also.

Early Spring Break

We had a great time staying at the Villa. Location was close to everything we needed. Pool and hot tub was a hit with everyone. Would recommend to anyone looking for a large space to accommodate 9 - 12 people.

Great Stay

Six adults and two teenage girls stayed for two weeks in February. The girls loved the pool while the adults used the hot tub daily. Would stay again next year. The location was great as there were no neighbors behind us because of the wildlife preserve out the back door.

Great location for a Disney trip

House was very close to parks and there were lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Had an issue wi the pool heat that the host was quick to remedy. Overall, great value for the money.

Best VRBO I’ve had

This was literally the best VRBO we’ve stayed in. We had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. Close proximity to everywhere we wanted to go. Little things like conversation starter games in the dining room and a giant basket of beach towels near the French doors to the pool were exactly the things that make this place top notch. We didn’t have any little ones with us, but we do have small grandkids at home, so I noticed everything from high chairs and cribs to a pack n play and Bumbo seat available. I would consider staying here again even if I weren’t going to Disney or Universal. Thanks for shearing your home!

Home away from home.

This is our second time renting this house and we are positive we made the correct choice in renting it again. The house is cozy yet big enough for everyone to do their own thing. Beds are comfortable and couches are too. We will for sure rent this house again on our next visit.
