Very disappointed

Just an update and some thoughts about our stay. 1. Unable to watch TV in the living room due to Roku not having cords to connect to the TV. Also unable to use the TV in 2 bedrooms due to the fact there were no batteries (we had to buy them) 2. Sliding glass door handle kept coming off 3. Basketball goal was broken and extremely rusted 4. ROACHES 5. Dish washer does not work properly, 3 cycles and dishes still dirty, dishes were dirty upon arrival 6. Code did not work on the door when we arrived 7. Game room smells bad 8. Grill was absolutely disgusting and the brush to clean it was thrown against the house and was melted. 9. No net on the pool net ( just a stick) bugs all in the pool. 10. Bed upstairs have springs that you can feel in your back when you lay down 11. Had to buy our own pans because there were not any but 1 tiny one. We come to Orlando every year for a family trip and this by far is the worst stay we have had. I'm very disappointed and I feel like money was wasted. I have stayed at nicer places for cheaper and never had to worry about this stuff. Several of these things throughout our stay were brought up to vascasa and all we got was an "Im sorry". My whole family is frustrated and this was embarrassing to me because I picked the house.

Great Stay

The home was larger than expected! It had very cozy family feel to it, but there was space enough for all 8 of us (ages 17+) to breathe during our 1 week stay. It was close enough to Disney Parks and conveniently located to grocery stores, pharmacy, gas stations, etc. We really enjoyed our stay.

Stay review

The stay was fine the only problems we had was 1. The code to enter home didn’t work but good thing for the quick response 2. The tvs and some of the remotes weren’t working 3. It was a room that was suppose to have 2 beds but ended up only be one But overall pretty good

Never again will I stay in a Vacasa property.

If zero were an option that'd be my rating. Rented for a large group of 13 with toddlers included, made the specific request with days in advance for the pool to be heated in time for our arrival. Paid $116.27 for heating from 10/07 to 10/10 I was told heating would be turned on 10/06 in the evening. We arrived late 10/07 at night to a freezing cold pool, a fairly small pool, nevertheless we gave it the benefit of the doubt and waited for the morning. The next morning the pool was still freezing cold after going along with other activities the pool showed no signs a warming up. I gave a call to the number they left as the number to the property manager, (which was disconnected), called Vacasa customer service, and was told a tech would be by to check the heater, after 4 hours I called again was ensured the property manager would call me and someone was on their way. No one ever showed or called at this point it day three and our final day of stay, so at this point I asked for a refund, they claimed someone turned on the heating the night before as promised but the warming process took up to 48 hours. I continued to ask for a refund as the pool would not be warm for our stay. The trued offering me $103.20 which I refused and replied would you have accepted less than the amount you requested for the service from me, then why should I accept an inferior refund? Long story short 20 calls 3 hang ups from their part and my whole vacation spent on the phone with them is what it took for them to" give me" a refund of my $116.27 in two separate transactions as they were dead set on forcing me to accept less than I paid. I had to call them while on the line with my banks disputes department pending my dispute, and tremendously angry and frustrated for a wasted vacation to get a miserable $116.27 back can't imagine what it would have been like for larger cash value. It's a shame too because if it wasn't for their terrible business practices and neglect to provide services paid it could have been a great vacation, because the house was absolutely gorgeous. Needless to say I will never book a property linked to this company ever again.

When we first arrived there was no instructions on how to receive pass to get through the gate. One of the gates was down. Went to the gate was trying to check in. Received pass & apparently the guy did not check us in properly was called back to the front gate to check in again! Arrived to the house the code that was given to get inside the house did not work! Then one of the rooms had done changed from what we originally booked instead of the two beds there was only one. When we arrived inside of the house the air was not working! I called & called about the air. & kept getting the same response about someone will call me back! Never received a call! Someone finally arrived about 3 hours later! & supposedly fixed it about 20 mins later air stopped working again. Called & reported even spoke with a manager & she stated she would call me back. Never received a call back! We had to sleep in a house that we paid good money to stay in with no air! It was 82-83 degrees all night! Called early that next morning & of course I got the same response about they are working on it. We didn’t get air til around 8 something that night. & I guess someone fixed it from the outside & no bothered to say that the air had been fixed we just noticed the temp dropping on the thermostats! We had reported several tvs not functioning & no one bothered to come by & fix them! Reported that the door batteries were beeping & saying they were low. No one bothered to come change them so we had to indure all that noise at night. & that why I gave it two stars!

disappointing

We went as a family to have fun and it was very frustrating not to have the consideration of the house managers the light in the main bathroom didn't work we paid for a heated pool for days we didn't have a heated pool days when the kids couldn't play. it was a frustrating weekend. terrible.

A good time, but needs attention.

The house was perfectly arranged and very clean. The location to the parks was great and it was very close to locations for food and groceries. Unfortunately none of the fun items in the garage worked properly. Pool cues were broken, missing 8 ball, air hockey wouldn't turn on and the foosball table had players that didn't work. Our check in process could have gone better. Everything appeared to work right until we got to the door and the entry code would work, meaning my family had to stand in the dark while guest services worked it out. We paid to heat the pool and despite calling ahead the day or arrival to remind someone to turn it on, we never felt the temperature change in the pool. If you read into how this pool heating works, it's clear to me now that it's not a very effective system despite the temperature outside being well within the range needed to make a difference. I would not recommend adding this feature during your stay. At the end of the day, the house served it's purpose for us, despite some of the small concerns above. Thank you for allowing us to stay and for reviewing this feedback.

Family trip to universal

It took us nearly two hours to get into the property because the code they gave us was incorrect- but once we were in the property it was very nice and better then we expected. However there was an extra charge for heating the pool and after we paid for it it took nearly 4 days for them to actually get the pool heated. If you want the pool heated recommend paying for it in advance so that it hot when you get there. Even though this is listed through VRBO it’s actually through vacasa which is different. First time with vacasa and having issues actually getting into the home. My family really enjoyed the home itself and this was a perfect getaway for 5 teenagers!

Our home away from home

We stayed for the labor day weekend with my family, we had 16 of us, from adults to kids as young as 2. The kids loved the house, there were enough room for everyone to sleep and shower and enough places for each to relax. The pool was a big hit but we wish we saw where additional fees were needed if you wanted the hot tub heated. Loved the enclosed backyard because flies and other insects did not bother us while we did our BBQ. The house was equipped with things needed from things for our 18 month old (sleeper beds, high chair, spoons, plates cups etc) to things for adults (enough wine glasses, mugs, plates pots etc) the only thing missing that we saw, was we needed a can opener and none was available, but we improvised using a knife to open the cans. The neighborhood was nice but since it was a holiday weekend, checking in was a nightmare, we had to wait in our cars for almost 40 mins so if you can get the app and use it your check in would be better. The beds were good but one complain was from the Queen size bedroom was alot of noice from the mattress and the bedframe. Might need to look into fixing. The game room was also nice and the kids especially the bigger ones enjoyed the variety of games to use. Some of the tv would not connect so it was hard at times to watch in other rooms. Overall, we loved the house, would stay there again if given the chance.

Very impressed

I’m truly impressed with this home!! The home was clean and fully stocked with every thing you might need, even items for child care! The layout is very comfortable. The kitchen is GORGEOUS! And the water pressure in those showers….AMAZING! My only complaint was the hot tub, we could not get it to heat up while we were there. Like I said, my family was so impressed with the beautiful murals and little details in the home. We are definitely coming back again!

Could have been so much better

The access code they gave us did not work at check-in. The gameroom was flea infested and the property manager was notified but took no action to correct the problem. Overall cleanliness was subpar- the walls were full of dirt marks, linens were stained and the white leather furniture was peeling. The hot tub is only heated for an extra fee which they did not disclose during any of the booking communications. The property has so much potential but the management is definitely lacking.

Terrible stay

Thanks for the place but the description is not what I paid for. I paid so much to me out of pocket and selected filters For jacuzzi & dog and I still had to pay extra for my dog that I been included on my booking process. We arrived to the house I was soooooo excited just to find out they want you to pay for hot water of the jacuzzi. Outrageous right? But no where is that stated during the booking procress. The main reason was stolen from me & this community is money hungry. They don’t care for their customers it’s just what works to get us in and out . Oh be sure not to loose or forget anything because it’s Maintenance job to go clean the place from what was missed (covid) reasons right, but they don’t actually clean because they want $25 to make someone go check behind people if need be. I regret staying here and I’m glad my trip is over . Of course my complaint won’t be heard nor rightfully taken care of or justified. But congratulations on taking my hard earn pay .

Immaculate home, uncomfortable beds

This home was amazing and I would definitely stay there again. While the beds weren’t very comfortable, (mattresses that we used seemed due for replacement) we loved the home. My biggest complaint was the property management company, Vacasa. This was our 2nd stay in a home managed by Vacasa. Both times the unlock code for the front door did not work, so we had to call for a backup code. This time the hold time was excessive, leaving us stuck outside with a car full of groceries.
