Crowne Plaza Orlando Universal4.0 out of 5.0

It's not easy to reach 5 stars, Crowne Plaza is an outstanding hotel.
Nice place. Hard to turn out of property and other cars don't readily let you in.
To say our trip to Orlando had not gone as planned would be an understatement. Mudslides, traffic jams, long waits for a rental car, and i was thinking to myself , Maybe i should never come back to orlando. Crown Plaza and their staff changed that thinking. When we arrived, the valet met us at the car with a smile, a bellman met us with a luggage cart and a smile, and the desk clerk made us feel right at home. it was literally the perfect ending to a horrible day. We stayed two nights, and had room service for two nights and their food is ridiculously good for hotel food. Their location is right down the road from Universal and Seaworld, and they have a free shuttle if you dont want to pay for parking. I can honestly say, this is the hotel i will stay at when in town for buisness or pleasure. Fantastic all the way around!!
Great location, excellent service and very friendly staff. We totally enjoy our stay and will do it again.
Wonderful stay , no complain , nice clean hotel , nice complimentary executive breakfast,
Great hotel. The only complaint is that they charge you 12.00 a day to park your car. Also the restaurant was expensive beautiful pool area.
Staff was amazing. We honestly expected the rooms to be a little bigger and nicer. The rooms were just your standard hotel room you would get at a cheaper hotel. There arent even mini fridges in the rooms so you have to spend more money buying cold drinks.
I was surprised to see the hotel under construction and I wish the front desk staff would have told us they had breakfast there lol
Expected better from this high end of a hotel. Charged for parking, no complimentary breakfast, no fridge to keep our waters in. The A/C and lights were much louder than to be expected. Sorta close, but that is about the only perk- other hotels would be a better find for park-goers.
the stay was nice, but we thought there would be complimentary wifi from the website but there was not.
It is the perfect location and really easy to enjoy Universal.
We had tickets to the Hardrock for a show and wanted some plance To stay for the night. (We are from a neighboring city). What a great hotel, a great value for the price and a very short ride to Universal.
We went on a trip with 12 family members . Would have preferred to be on the same floor. But we had nice spacious rooms we were upgraded to suites Staff was very helpful. They had a free shuttle service to Universal studios
Beautiful hotel, was very satisfied with my stay. The only thing I did not like was how rough the bed's comforter was, it irritated my skin. Other than that, very happy.
fantastic place, you won`t regret! We spent 2 days here and my friend and I both feel great about this place. I can say, this is the best hotel that I have ever booked. I will definitely book again if I go to Orlando again. The price is great and the room is so good that i do not know how to describe.
Limited shuttle services. Not very convenient for those who wants to visit just the theme parks.
There was nothing special about the hotel other than its location (very close to Universal). The room could have been cleaner (found mold in the coffee cups). The service could have been better (called for extra towels that were not delivered on two occasions). The food in the restaurant in the hotel was good, but a bit pricey ($70 for breakfast for four). And there was an extra $10/night parking fee that came as an unpleasant surprise.
room was very clean and the staff was great, but there was no restuarnt or anything nearby
The staff was great. But they charge you for parking? That's the first. No free wifi and you get no free breakfast. It ended up being more expensive than I thought it would be.
I have a 16 year old boy and he is more into Universal than Disney. It was so close. He and I walked to Sea World (yeap that close) then again we are New Yorkers, we love to walk. We did not even pay for Sea World Parking.
