Very good. Nice place as usual. MBR bath right sink drain stopper does not lift event though handle is connected. Queen Baton Rouge toilet “runs”. Appears to have “Flake” between stopper and drain. Our third time at resort, 3rd separate room. All very similar. .

Awesome condo

Awesome condo and experience. 4 items that were problems:1) hot tub would not heat to correct temp2) TVs were old and outdated. We wanted to use an Apple TV while we were there and play some Nintendo trivia games but the TVs were so outdated they would not run properly. 3). The TV for the first bedroom was found in the 2nd bedroom closet. Not sure what the issue was. 4) the chair next to the sliding door in the living room was broken. These things did not distract from a restful vacation in a fantastic condo.

Very nice unit, beautiful views, well equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings.Had issue with hot tub not heating, promptly addressed by Turquoise staff. All of the staff that we interacted with were pleasant and helpful.

Christmas Vacation

Great location and complex. Little disappointing as hot tub wasn’t usable for the entire vacation. Also the jacuzzi in the master wasn’t functioning. Indoor pool and facilities were great. Unit is definitely for rentals as TVs are very old and mattresses weren’t comfortable. Overall, good price and great trip!

Nice

Stayed at Turquoise many many times. This unit was clean but, the hot tub didn’t work, spoke to mgmt numerous times over the 5 day stay and in the last night, finally were able to use it for about an hour. There were no standard supplies you expect to have such as garbage bags, dishwasher pods etc. So had to go back to store for standard supplies. The tub in the master kept coming on in the middle of the night multiple times. For the amount of money paid, you expect much better.

Last time

I do not go on vacation to be interrupted everyday by aquatics to service a hot tub that didn’t work properly the entire week. Then one day they drained it so it took even more time to heat up but never above 80 degrees. Kitchen faucet needs replacing and I had to screw the bedroom door knob back on myself with a butter knife. These units used to be great. The last few times have been a let down.

Simply Beautiful

Elegant and unfussy accommodations with lots of fun “extras” like the jacuzzi in the guest room that our kids loved. The hot-tub on the balcony was also lots of fun and one of the main reason we enjoy staying at Turquoise Place. The lazy river, indoor and outdoor pools and beach were also top notch. It never felt too crowded in the public spaces, which I also appreciated. Grateful for this quick time away with our family!

Spring Trip

We love Turquoise Place as a whole. The property is wonderful and when we have stayed in the past we booked through them directly. The room itself is spacious but when we walked in the ice maker at the bar had an alarm going off and had mold in it I had to turn it off and we didn't need it but it was disgusting. The tv remotes in the 3 smaller bedrooms did not work which again wasn't a huge deal. The hot tub on the balcony was disappointing as the guy came to check it within minutes of us being in the room and it wasn't plugged in and was only half full. He said it needed to be drained and cleaned and refilled. He then said he would notify the team that does that yet no one ever came to fix it and it was in the same condition when we left. With 55-60 degree temps and wind it would have been nice to have. I'm hoping it was just oversights in this unit but it mar me reluctant to stay there again.

Beautiful Complex

The complex is absolutely beautiful in a great location. The condo itself is beautiful but could used a little maintenance TLC, furniture steam cleaning and carpet replacement. During our stay in (Dec/Jan) the hot tub on the balcony was out of order which was quite a disappointment considering the time of year. We were looking forward to enjoying the view while relaxing in it. This is unfortunate but we understand things happen. Perhaps a small discount or credit would have been greatly appreciated but not offered. For such an upscale complex, we were very surprised to see how worn & dingy the carpet & furniture was in the bedrooms especially in the master. We visit the area a couple times a year so this was quite surprising. All in all it’s still a nice unit. We enjoyed our stay.

Broken hot tub

One of our reasons for choosing Turquoise Place was the hot tub on the balcony. It was quite a disappointment that it didn’t work and nothing was done about it. I will never stay with White Shores Realty again.

no surprises

We've stayed at Turquoise Place for many years and this time rented through VRBO. We got online and found a unit that was what were looking for. The listing was accurate and everything was in good working order. The unit was clean. Other than a few of the mattresses being a little worn out, nothing at all but a positive experience!

Devices Not Working

The condo was very nice but the Hot Tub wasn’t working. It was either 104 degrees (too hot) or 92 (too cold). We asked the maintenance guy to please fix it but he wasn’t knowledgeable enough. All he could do was check Chemicals. (Which was useless since we couldn’t use it). TV didn’t work for 2 days. Finally chandler was able to get someone to come fix it. Clearly the condo is not properly inspected before a tenant arrives. Next time will look at a different unit.
