Ill Prepared/Broken Equipment House
This house was not prepared for guests. If we weren't the first guest to stay here, we had to have been one of the firsts. One day one, the elevator was not working. We had loaded in all the bags from the car to take to the rooms, only to find out it did not work. The two elderly guests had to traverse the steps, which was an unexpected challenge. We lost over 200 in groceries to a refrigerator that did not work in the kitchen. It appeared that someone knew about this but didn't share it with us because there were two other refrigerators in the parking area unplugged. We plugged one in after we went back to the store again just to have bare minimum food cold that wouldn't spoil. The dishwasher in the kitchen did not work. We discovered it was also left unplugged, so we plugged it in to try and run the dishes, but only had a loud banging sound and no water run. So if we wanted to re-use pans, glasses, utensils, all had to be hand washed, which required another store run due to the small amount of dish soap provided. The master bedroom bathroom and bedroom had no window curtains. The neighbors could see directly into the bathroom via a large window right in front of the shower so all the lights had to be off if you wanted privacy. The coffee maker and toaster were clearly pulled from another property and were very dirty and required some cleanout, including bugs in the coffee ground holder.
