Everything you need for the beach, chairs, kayak, boogie boards, umbrella. Get kids off their screens! Privacy fenced yard, fire pit, grill, outdoor eating space. All the amenities that other beach cottages lack --- indoor bathrooms, washer/dryer, dishwasher. Just like home!

Beachside community, 3 blocks to Beach. Several restaurants and convenience stores within easy walking distance. Could be a great vacation for those without a car, 10 minutes to Old Saybrook Amtrak station, everything you need is nearby and / or easily walkable.

Weekend getaway

I appreciated the prompt reply to a last minute getaway request. Plenty of supplies were available, though the kitchen and supplies were not as tidy as I would have liked. The host was responsive to my questions or concerns which I greatly appreciated.
