Felt mattresses not as comfortable as other Hiltons

On checkin the front desk guy upgraded our room to the Alai tower. Ocean front room had beautiful view of the Friday night fireworks display. Only here one night but very memorable.

nice hotel, great location, near to everything including shopping

need to stay longer. But in all the airline to the hotel and getting the rental car was easy. will do again threw Orbitz

Booked thru orbitz and despite paying over $$$$ a night and status as a Hilton gold member, was placed in the tower furthest from the beach and pool by the main road. I was also told I would collect no points for room or incidentals. I had requested early check in and beach view room. We showed up at @1:30 pm and waited in line for 30 minutes to be told to wait for our room. The room was finally ready at 4:30. Drinks by the crowded pool were dishwater and the slow service was worse. I checked out the next morning and went to the Marriott for a better room with beach view for much less. I had stayed at the Hilton several times years before and they obviously don’t need customers, as the lines to everything were long, but if you want quality and service, don’t go here.

beautiful hotel/property. Double beds are kind of small, but overall a very pleasant experience

I found this hotel not consumer friendly. One, the food is way over priced. Two, they charge $18.00 per day for one chair to use on the beach and $35.00 for an umbrella. Three, their comp!ex is large and not clearly marked so you spend a lot of time walking around seeking a store etc. Three, they do not have a separate exit area/staff to leave so you wait in very long lines with the new entrants, also not noted. The main lobby and taxi area is a nightmare, it is so poorly planned, it is constantly congested... again not in the guests interest. Hilton spent a fortune on beautiful landscaping maybe they should spend more on what makes guests want to come back. We are very disappointed with the apparent lack of caring from this facility.

Nice place for family and kids. Diamond head tower needs a little updating

The hotel wasn't really accommodating and some of the staff was rude. But overall my family and i had a nice experience.

Great experience for the family, would go back as soon as I can.

Nice hotel close to the beach and shopping centers

We reserved a king room only to be given two doubles. The room had no place to sit other than the bed or the lanai. For the room prices, one bottle of water per person is not too much to expect. Our movie rental card did not work and the replacement card did not work either. Overall, we were very disappointed in this property and will not be staying here again.

Very nice stay at the Hilton. Everyone was great and the rooms were comfortable

We were upgraded to the Ali’i Tower and had a beautiful view of the beach.

Overall experience was excellent, only negative part of stay was meal cost were high at the village compared to meals away from the ahilton. All of the staff were professional and helpful.

The coffee machine and refrigerator are in the bathroom. How does that pass a health code check? Are you serious? The room looked nothing like the photographs. Looked like a cheap Days Inn from inside. The reason I didn't care was because I was in Hawaii. No breakfast in the morning. Nothing. I liked the restaurant there and the live music. Made everything worth it.

nice hotel although could do with some renewal in the bathroom area; ie rusty basin outlet.

We originally booked a King size bed, but when we checked in very late; we only got two doubles. The hotel upgraded us to a king size bed the very next morning. They were very professional and kind in helping us. The rainbow ocean view room was beautiful. I recommend this hotel and look forward to returning!!
