The hotel is beautiful but was very disappointed about the pool water being so cold. I took my one year old and the water for to cold for him even for myself. You would think for the prize that you are paying they will their pools with warm water.

We spent five nights in the newly renovated Tapa Tower. Some things looked "touched up" while others (like wallpaper) haven't been changed. That being said, my experience was very different than other posts I've seen here. I don't have any complaints about Tapa. It was a very good stay.

The hotel is located on a beautiful beach and has everything you could ever need on site. Everything from Luis Vuitton to the ABC general store shopping is on the resort property along with some outstanding restaurants, a spa, and at least 5 pools. When you check in you're given a DVD rental card for their machines and two towel cards that you can trade at any of the pools for large beach towels. The rooms come with PlayStation 3 consoles that you can use for DVDs or games during your stay. All that doesn't even cover how fantastic the staff is. The maid that cleaned our room was so sweet; she would greet us by name every time we saw her and never minded if we needed an extra towel or anything else for our room. We also met a groundskeeper that offered to show us around all the best local places on our next visit. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.

Great family environment. Good all in one resort. Very clean areas. Location to beach and activities is perfect.

It was fine and amenities are all there. Drink and food service was very slow due to new computer system which was pretty frustrating. But other than that it was a pleasurable stay.

Very nice hotel with many things to doo from the Lagoon to pool areas and other activities. Has many good restaurants and is centrally located close to main road where theres more shosps and restaurants and the mall just a mile away. It's our second visit there in seven years would go there again.

We originally booked an ocean view room with a king sized bed. Unfortunately, they were running short on king beds (don't understand why if it was reserved and prepaid) but luckily, they offered us an upgrade to a jr. Suit which had an amazing view! The bedding was surprisingly comfortable and good quality. We got two full sized beds instead of a king not a big deal considering the view. Love that there are so many shops and restaurants within the hotel "village". Great views, beach access, pools, a lagoon, restaurants and shopping, all in one place :)

It was a nice hotel. I was very pleased. I did not like all of the resort fees on top of the parking fees. I feel as though if your going to charged a resort fee that should also include parking. It should be free parking for guest that are staying at your hotel. I was very pleased with my room. It was my 3rd year anniversary and the front desk clerk gave us an upgrade. My room was so cozy and comfortable. I slept like a baby. Over all I would recommend this hotel and I would stay again, but hopefully someone could look into my complaints because even though I knew about the resort fee and parking fee- parking was even more when I arrived. I still feel as though it was a form of robbery. Like you did it just cause you can.

A little crowded for my liking and the pool with the waterslides (one of the smaller pools) is super crowded. Pools could be heated a bit more - they were a bit cold for our liking. Great location. Lots to do. Best thing is you can walk right out onto the beach. The rooms are very nice, comfy and clean. Doesn't have a super luxurious feel. They don't give you leis or guava juice or anything upon arrival. In fact, once you check in, you're basically on your own. Food at the resort was okay. There are a lot of options for snacks, drinks, etc. We had fun at the luau - it was a great show even though it was on top of a concrete roof (which kind of took away a little of the magic). BUT, it's Hawaii so everything is pretty magical no matter what. Over all resort is nice but not out of this world.

Very positive experience!! Updated room and very clean. Staff was especially accommodating! Great location, hotel is within a host of great shops.

Guy who checked me in became immediately rude when he found out I was just a local staying for the weekend with family. Orbitz did not advice me as to what tower to check in to so after I checked in we had to walk across the property to the right tower. Rooms are nice but there are NO locks on the bathroom door and the pillows are just sheets so you would need 3 on top of eachother just to be halfway comfortable. If you're going for a little staycation over the weekend the hotel only gives you less than 24 hours to be there.

Ryan at the Front Desk was great. When we arrived our room was not ready and he advised us to get some dinner on them while we waited. when we went back he made sure everything was ready. Ryan also checked in with us the following day to make everything was satisfactory. Great time.

The place as a whole was very nice but for what you pay for a room and all the resort fees the rooms should be updated they are terrible and old. Ive been to other hiltons around the U.S. and they all have been exceptional. This resort really needs a makeover.

We liked how all of our needs were on site and the resort had a large beach.

It was our best vacation by far! We enjoyed every second of it! Everyone is so nice and friendly! The convience was everything!

Had a great time. Stayed for 6 nights and everyone was very welcomed.

The line to check in was horrible. We waited in line for 1.5 hours and it was sooooo slow. The hotel rooms was ok. We paid for ocean view so to them, it means I had to lean over the balcony to see it. Overall, I would not go back to this hotel. It was stressful and way too crowded.

Awesomeness, wonderful, delightful, staff great. Thats all i can say...Vacation was a blast

We just llore this hotel have stayed several times .we love the convenience of the location , the shops , the view is amazing

The staff was incredible. The nightly entertainment in the Tapa Bar was fabulous but there are so many people everywhere! Took us 45 mins to check in. 30 mins to check out. Ever pool was crawling with people so we actually avoided the pools completely. Theses some construction going on and the facilities could us a bit of a face lift but that's just being picky. Overall it was a great hotel. We will absolutely stay again.
