The room was large, the bed very comfortable, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was great. Oddly, the room was not cleaned—bed unmade—though we stayed two nights. But the visit and facilities were very good overall.

A great place to stay in St. Johnsbury!

This Comfort Inn has been updated overall and is very comfortable and lovely. Though I believe I booked a room for two queen-size beds, but got a room with one king-size bed, it worked out for us. We aren't very good sleepers these days! So, after the first night of the fan and A/C unit running off & on and keeping me awake, due to its loudness, I shut it off completely and opened a window a bit. That helped! The staff were wonderful!! The breakfast offered plenty of options we liked, though we were surprised not to find yogurt this time. The only disappointment I heard was the second morning when a large group of police and/or firemen (I think) were eating breakfast quite early, finishing all the cheese omelets! When the hotel guests began to arrive for breakfast, all the omelets were gone, and the kitchen staff had no idea if or when another batch would be available. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at the Comfort Inn, and would recommend it to anyone heading into the St. Johnsbury area. Thank you!!

I was unable to access WiFi during my stay and the excuse given by staff was that the hotel was fully booked and too many people were using WiFi. This does happen the staff says when the hotel is booked solid. This is a terrible excuse. WiFi is an advertised service and the hotel should enable their systems to scale up when necessary. The hotel offered no rebate or reimbursement to me.

Expectations were not met!

Arrived at 2:20 PM and tried to check-in but we were refused. I understand check-in is at 3:00 PM, but I've never been denied early check-in. Stayed for 3 nights and nobody came to clean our room or refresh towels, etc. The wifi connection is weak. We stayed here 25 years ago after it first opened. We were disappointed on our return visit
