With 400 feet of river frontage along the high banks of the Saco River, experience the best mother nature has to offer on a perfect getaway for small or large groups. Bring your binoculars, or use the house pair, to take in all the wildlife and nature views this majestic property has to offer. You will likely see our two bald eagle friends, who nest and fish along the river basin. They often take in breathtaking views themselves, from one of the trees in our backyard. One thing you will not see in your view is another home for miles and miles, despite being just a few minutes to downtown North Conway restaurants, shops, activities, and all the valley has to offer.

Upon entry, you'll be immediately impressed with the giant picture window framing the breathtaking mountain and river views, and Buddy black bear will greet your family with a warm welcome! Make yourself at home on the genuine leather sofas, curl up with a good book by the gas fireplace, or settle into one of the leather swivel chairs at the picture window for a front row seat of a storm front creeping over the mountain tops. Wake up in the comfort of the king-sized main suite featuring oversized windows to take in the sunrise illuminating the magnificent cliffs of Cathedral Ledge. Overall, this is a nice property with great views and a solid location. The home itself is attractive and clearly intended to be a higher end rental, with amenities that justify a premium price point when they work.We specifically searched for homes with a hot tub, so discovering upon arrival that the advertised hot tub was not working, with no advance notice, was especially disappointing. We understand that things can break, but at this price point, proactive communication matters.Unfortunately, several other advertised amenities were also unusable or poorly maintained. The theater recliners were largely broken, and we found fingernails under one of the cup holders. The projector in the theater area had no remote. The ping pong paddles and balls were broken so our kids could not play, and the darts for the dartboard were unusable. The downstairs shower barely worked. The basement had a noticeable sewage smell. The back deck leading to the fire pit had not been shoveled. The thermostat was locked at 70, limiting comfort, and there were no instructions provided for using the sauna.We reached out to the owner/operator, Vacasa, immediately upon arrival to address several of these issues and did not receive any response during our stay.We are annual renters in the area and would have liked for this to become a recurring rental for our families, but the lack of maintenance, communication, and responsiveness made that unlikely. Pros: views are amazing; game room with pool table, ping pong, movie theatre screen and chairs, hot tub, location, plenty of kitchen seating, sauna, open concept house, gas fireplace in living room - all easy to use. Cons: gas grill didn’t work. The right side of the grill completely didn’t work and the remaining two burners only heated the grill to less than 200. Could not get anyone to help us because of the 7:30 PM hour on a Saturday night. The property manager or BOT sent us instructions on how to clean the grill as a possible fix. I had no intention of cleaning someone else’s grill - I expect it to work when it’s advertised as being part of the home. Very disappointing. Basement bathroom had a terrible smell - not sure if that’s usual or if an animal died in the wall. It was unusable for that reason. One of the theater black lounge chairs was inoperable even after we checked the power supply. We enjoyed our stay, even with gas grill issue which was very disappointing as we love to cook as a family. The property manager should provide instructions on how to properly use the gas fireplace and turn it on. We needed to text them for that information.

This home was the perfect house for our North Conway getaway! Hot tub was delightful, our kids enjoyed the movie theatre, pool table and pong table! Fireplace and scenery were divine. We shopped at the outlets 10 minutes down the road, golfed and enjoyed the Saco river. It was a wonderful getaway. Would make an amazing ski vacation spot!!! Highly recommend!!

Excellent property very close to North Conway, but off the main strip making it easy to get in and out. Great view from the living room and kitchen. Saw a bald eagle fly along the river. House is in good shape and everything worked as expected. There were some minor things like a stain on the comforter and cigarette butts in the backyard. There is no garbage disposal, so keep that in mind if you’re used to one. Overall, we had a great time and would book it again if we were staying in the area.

House is large and spacious. It was clean. Lots of options of things to do with the theater/ game room. Beds were comfortable. But it was 91 degrees outside and the heat was set on 70 degrees in the house. It was 78 degrees in the house and so stuffy. The heat had a lock box on it so we called for someone to turn on the AC. No one came until the following late afternoon. Also we could not use the hot tub for the first day and a half. It was beyond dirty. Full of sand and pollen. The management company came after a day and a half to turn on the AC and attempted to clean the hot tub. They spent 2 hours cleaning the hot tub. It still had sand in it but was better. Location of the home is great and close to everything. We would stay again just really hope they work on the hot tub issue.

Frustrated and disappointed

Location was beautiful and house accommodated multiple people with ample rooms for all. However we needed to congregate in the basement due to the air conditioning not working in the house and we had no access to the thermostats. The house got up to 79 degrees. The basement was the only location that was cool in the house. Out of all of the windows in the house there were only 3 windows with screens that allowed us to get minimal air flow in the whole house. The challenges with the AC were addressed with management the night we arrived. Despite multiple communications with management there was no resolution. Management was supposed to call me, but they did not. The hot tub was only cleaned the night before we left. When we arrived the trash in the garage was overflowing. I did not expect to spend my vacation dealing with these issues. I expect some financial reimbursement for our issues. Otherwise Yelp will receive this review.

The home is nestled in a beautiful private location but super close to town with so many options to choose from for activities and food. It rained the whole weekend we were there but found that the entertainment in the house was sufficient to keep my grandkids happy and busy with games and watching movies in the home theater. We will definitely stay here again!!!

This house has a ton of space to accommodate a large group. Great view. Great basement level with plenty of stuff to entertain all ages if the weather isn't the best. Very kid friendly.

Family weekend

This was the perfect home for Our Family Weekend! Plenty of space and bedrooms for everyone. The game room down stairs was so fun and gave us all time to hangout and unplug and just spend time laughing and enjoying ourselves. We really recommend this home and the views were spectacular 🧡

Outstanding views. Convenient location. Nicely appointed. Spacious enough for 8 adults and 6 children with opportunities for privacy. Excellent game room. Towels more than plentiful. However, odd that there was not enough glassware to go around. Would rate experience A plus but for one serious shortcoming. The fence in front of property is not secure and potentially hazardous for families with young children.
