Fall wedding get-away

Loved the cozy, clean , and scenic chalet for wedding weekend. The covered deck was perfect for relaxing , even with some rainy weather. Walking distance or quick drive to Mass MoCA.

Beautiful view with covered deck

Cute, compact two-bed room with three bathroom options: tub, sink/toilet, and toilet/shower. We especially loved the covered deck, which looks out over North Adams and the mountains beyond. It was great for me for yoga and contemplation and for my daughter for reading. Easy walk to Mass MOCA and restaurants. Good mini-fridge and decent drip coffee maker. Easy check in/check out.

Nice romantic getaway suite

I was doing some hiking over a period of a couple of days and wanted to stay somewhere home-like and comfortable, but with a nice hot tub to relax in after so many miles. This place was perfect for what I needed and so relaxing. My favorite area was sitting in the outside living room on top of the hill... beautiful!

Excellent choice!

Great choice, love the porch area and the hot tub and the style. Beautiful view of the mountains and city. Address was a little tricky bc it’s just listed as “16 forest” and gps didn’t recognize, address is actually 16 Forrest street. The foot tub is also nice but the shower, which I was happy to see (wasn’t mentioned in listing), has no curtain over the tub and the water goes everywhere. Also we stayed in November and it was unusually warm and unfortunately very hot in this upstairs room, even with windows open, ac unit must’ve been removed already. A fan definitely could have helped. Overall a great spot, would def stay again!! Enjoyed a hike in the Berkshires nearby.

Wonderfully designed spaces to enjoy

We enjoyed our stay in the upstairs room with the two queen beds. The ceiling height is more than comfortable for tall people, the rooms are tastefully decorated with restraint while the beds are plush and comfortable. The shared use areas- the upper deck, the hot tub room and the lower courtyard- are artfully designed and welcoming. The hot tub is delightfully deep. The views from the upper deck outside our room is expansive and we could appreciate the river, the old mills, and the mountains beyond.

Perfect for visit to Mass MoCA!

Robin was very communicative and helpful leading up to our visit and clearly worked to make our stay as easy and complete as possible. The porch has a nice view overlooking North Adams and the mountains - great for our morning coffee. It was a short walk down to town and Mass MoCA - super convenient. We hope to return for another visit!
