Last ski weekend
We are a family group, introducing youngsters to skiing on the last day of the season at Wintergreen- the house was adequately large and very close to the main lifts. Overall, the house was tidy, although not spotless, with charmless furnishing in many of the rooms, with the exception of the entry floor den, and the master bedroom. For the number of guests that can be accommodated, the main dining table was small. While the lighting was dim, the windows and porches were very nice.We were not able to get WiFi the entire weekend. We found the remotes lacked charged batteries, but due to no internet, watching any shows was out. A space heater left in the downstairs bedroom did not work, and that floor can be quite cool.Communication with the property owner was very good and prompt. I think with a bit more attention, and spiff-up, the property could be quite appealing.
