Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Not one thing I did not like.
As a platinum elite, we can access the lounge on the 33rd floor of the hotel, BUT it seems like Eric F. at the front desk doesn't understand that the card just doesn't work. I had to go down to him three times to reset the key card. It's not just me. Other guests seems to have the same issue. If this is a three star hotel, I won't even bother to write this review, but it's JW Marriott and the service should be much better than this. Also, the valet people were in such a hurry and almost pulled us out of our car. I understand that there are not enough people to work, but give me at least a minute to get out of my car.
Pros: Hotel was beautiful and clean, Near lower Broadway (Honkytonk Highway), Staff was professional and courteous (except for one housecleaning attendant who kept ringing doorbell incessantly on a Saturday morning), Whiskey Sky had beautiful views of downtown Nashville skyline. Cons: Very expensive room (we paid about $700 per night for an "off" week with no major concerts or sporting events) and even louder ambient noise (street traffic driving by on Demonbruen St. was soooo incredibly loud at all times of night, from 6 floors up, that it was impossible to get any sleep. For the price you pay, one would think they would work on soundproofing rooms more).
Great spot to lay by the pool. The gym was great, too. We will be back soon!
Everything was amazing about this hotel! Super friendly staff and very nice.
Nice property. wifi very cumbersome to log on and use. Bathroom good for couples but not so good for traveling with grown kids.
It wasn’t quite what I expected for the price. Room was just ok
Liked the access to several different venues in close proximity to the JW
Very new and nice. the standard room are very spacious and gas verry good beds
They overbooked the hotel, it took an hour to check in and for them to give me a room (I needed two Queen beds, they didn’t have anything in the class, refused to bump me up a class and then gave me a rooom with a King Bed and rollaway, after haggling for an hour, and mind you, this was at 7pm, so they should have had a room) The check in staff were nice but clearly could not deal with the issues. They are not trained appropriately and that is the fault of their supervisors. Additionally, the hotel staff offered me 20,000 points on their BonVoy rewards system for all the problems and paying for a higher class of room and not getting it if I signed up, which I did,and they did not give me ANY points for all the trouble. They said that a $100 room credit would come back to my credit card if I didn’t use it and it didn’t. Clearly, the staff at the hotel do not know how to book rooms, or clean and turn over rooms quick enough to accommodate guests, they also do not know how to use their system to offer guests credits and points the way they promise at Check in and Check our. Finally, I was promised a follow up call by the Night supervisor to confirm extra points in the BonVoy rewards system and it never happened. These guys are disorganized and I would seriously book elsewhere.
The room and maid service was excellent but we had to wait over 35 minutes for the valet to bring our car around and were charged for items from the mini bar that we didn’t use.
I LIKE EVERYTHING ABOUT THE HOTEL. ALL STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.
Brand new hotel. Epic views. Rooftop restaurant is excellent. Friendly staff.
