The stay at this cabin in Jabez was good. It looks like the owners are grandparents who have laid out the home so that their children and grandchildren can stay with them. There is a bedroom and full bath on the first floor as you walk in the door. The bathroom is accessible, which is a plus. Also on the first floor is a well equipped kitchen, family room and dining area. The kitchen is not decorated for those who want a high end kitchen. The cabinets are an older, inexpensive look mixed with raw open fronted wood. The dining table seats 6 and is well used. The upstairs has a bathroom with a shower, two bigger beds (full/queen?) and a twin bed plus a trundle. The decor is mainly geared toward children. I didn't spend much time downstairs, as it is geared toward teens and older. There is a tv (no wifi), several game tables, and a bedroom. The guys enjoyed hanging out down there together, but missed the wifi. I was a bit concerned that there were 3 beer bottles in the area that they would be using. Outside there is a wrap-around deck. On it is a patio table and a seating area in back. They are not expensive sets and we had to clean the patio table before using it because it was filthy. There is also a firepit, but you need to bring your own seating because none is provided.
