We wanted a long weekend on the beech and this really fit the bill. What is nice is that this is a resort complex. On the main floor you have a pretty substantial convenience store, a restaurant that does breakfast through dinner, a pizza place and an ice cream parlor (specializing in dipping dots).
Right on the beach, with a nice pool/lazy river. Across the parking lot was another restaurant that we preferred for lunch, and there is tons to do in the area.
The room was nicely set up. It was set up a little different than the picture, which was a good thing. In the picture you walked into the living room area, then the kitchen, and then the bedroom -- the bedroom is where you exited on to the Oceanview balcony. When we were there they switched the bedroom and the living room, which we liked so that the living room had the doorwall to the balcony.
There was a door you could slide closed between the bedroom/kitchen and another one between the kitchen/living room. This was nice as I get up early while Pam sleeps in, so I was able to shut those doors and enjoy the living room and balcony without waking her up.
We'd go back in a minute.
I did take off one star on check-in process as the location for check-in/check-out was five miles away from the property. So if you were not going to have a car, that would result in some extra inconvenience or Uber expense.
