Would not recommend

The property was clean, but there were numerous things wrong. When we let the rental company know, they declined to do anything about it. When we informed them of the wasp swarm on the balcony, we were told to shut the door and not go out there. Very disappointing. This unit is in need of repair and someone should provide a step ladder to get into the bed!

Family Stay

Overall this property was good for the price. The location is great, distance to beach is perfect for families with small children. A downside to the property was the cleanliness as there was dirty clothes left behind under the bed in the kids room. Bedding was less than comfortable and master bed mattress was uncomfortable, hard and very noisy/creaky. The view is great for sitting and watching the waves and catching the sunset. The property would benefit from having an addition child lock in the balcony door.

Great place but needs some minor work

It’s a great place with a great view from both the balcony and the master bedroom. I’d have given this place a five if some small things were taken care of. There was trash on stairs and dirty underwear under the bed and puzzle pieces under the couch when we moved in. Cleaners definitely didn’t do a very good job. Then a lot of little things like The balcony didn’t lock, ice in freezer didn’t come out the front of door, a bed leg wasn’t attached, some outlets by bed didn’t work, one shower didn’t drain when in use, on tv had no channels. None were major just kind of added up to a nuisance. I would definitely stay here again though. I loved the area as it wasn’t real crowded. You could look up and down beach and see tons of people but it wasn’t bad on our piece of beach.

LOVED BEING ON THE BEACH!

We enjoyed our time here for sure. The only thing was that the floor was dirty and the beds not the best. It was nice being right on the beachfront.

Mostly!!

The only issue was the parking garage is extremely tight for all vehicles. There is some SUV parking available outside of the garage area but they literally measure the length of your vehicle and issue tickets for 6” too long. That was an unpleasant experience. There are a few maintenance (painting) issues with the property but gorgeous views!

Amazing Two Level Top Views

Great location in Central Myrtle for things to do both North and just South but not too far South and family friendly environment. Great location and spot for golfers too. Only negative is the primary bed needs a new mattress and no washer and dryer in the unit. Laundry Mat was easy to use but it is old school coin operated/antiquated.

Terrible property

This property was terrible. The beds were awful and noisy. The linens were dirty. Not enough bathroom towels and kitchen towels. The lamps were broken, the televisions didn’t work. The parking was very tight in the garage and the overflow parking was not enforced for larger SUV’s . Paying to wash resort towels is unacceptable.

Amazing View

Excellent property with an absolutely amazing view. Everything was as expected. Only suggestion is the master bedroom mattress is very sucky. For the price paid for this unit I would have expected better.

Be advised

While the view was beautiful, the rental wasn’t very clean, half of the lightbulbs didn’t work, and the bed was unbearably loud and uncomfortable. I text the number provided in the paperwork, never got a text back until the next day telling me to text a different number. We ended up not being there enough for it to matter. There is a lot of room, but no cleaning supplies and the kitchen equipment was old and really needs to be replaced. Im usually not a picky person, but this just missed the mark for us. I hope they update some things for future visits.

It has potential

Very dirty wish I can say something better but the cleanliness is -100. Socks under night stand sheet was definitely not replaced but the bed was made. I do not wish to do this to anyone but it was upsetting for the amount we paid. Yellow stain on the pillow cases let’s just say we all know what that is. Even tho they gave us new sheets we were already grossed out, on top of that the bed itself made so much noise just by climbing on it So we end up sleeping downstairs for five nights. Whatever you loose some you gain some. Trash bag was half the size of the trash container and they do not give you bags only a starter kit which is one so bring your own bags. Do not take your shoes off cause it will make your sock black so imagine barefooted. It’s a really disgusting place with so much potential, I hesitated to write this review. I’m not the one to ruin peoples business but damn this place will make you upset. The view is amazing tho the locations is perfect right there around everything that’s the sad part, this place have so much potential. But the dirtiness will not have me recommend this to anyone nor will I be returning to this so call penthouse. I wish you guys would step it up cuz it’s a shame, it’s such a beautiful view. Wifi trash just saying. Hopefully this will help the owner or the manager step up their game before it’s to late. And I feel like it’s getting there with all the cracks and holes on the wall like they gave up on that place. Anyways we made it our best with the views and made it a positive vacation. But definitely you guys pulled us in with the view. I wish I had read the review a lil more deeper before I booked this place. Manager’s very pleasant can’t complain there. I honestly would rate it a 1 star for the view

Beautiful views

Overall it was a good stay. The place is spacious and has a balcony facing the ocean to enjoy sunrises and sunsets. I will say that for a luxury penthouse rental the owners need to step up the interior and amenities inside the unit.

Great Location

The property was very clean. The updates completed recently were very enjoyable, brand new appliances, and amazing upgrades in the bathrooms. Overall a great experience for me and my family. The location is by far the best part. It’s off the strip, quiet and no crowded beach within half a mile either way. Light traffic which made commuting very easy. There is grocery stores and coffee shops near by. Cons: One bed in the guest room was very hard to sleep on, just seems to need a new box spring. Easy fix. The parking garage is very tight. If you have a small car, it’s not bad. If you have an oversized car, they provide an outdoor lot which is much easier. It’s the mid size vehicles that have the hardest time. Despite the little complaints we had, we had a great stay. We highly recommend this condo. P.S. The view from the master bedroom is outstanding.

Average Vacation

Property was not ready until 3:20 PM because of cleaning. Once inside, property was dirty e.g. underwear in closet, sand on floors, blood or stain on pillow case. Minor maintenance issues were identified. Did not have laundry inside the unit. Room was too close to the elevator, being that it was on the top floor, so you could here the elevator going up and down all day and night. Unit was updated nicely, with granite countertops and laminate flooring. Also, being on the top floor (s), view was amazing.

Great place!

We enjoyed our stay at Palmetto Vacation Rentals property. We had a couple of issues early on but Palmetto was very kind and generous to take care of the situation. The location was perfect and the condo was beautiful. We can't wait to go back!

Nice condo

Overall, this was a nice condo. It was clean and had a beautiful view. We arrived at 3:15pm on the day of check in and it had yet to be cleaned. We changed and went to the beach while she was cleaning it. The front door lock/handle needs to be replaced as when we arrived we couldn't get it open. Had it not been for the cleaning lady we probably wouldn't have gotten in. She had to show us a trick to get it open. One of the mattress and box springs in the room with the two double beds needs to be replaced. When my child (105lbs) went to bed it curved towards the middle and I looked under the bed and you can clearly see that the box springs is very broken and needs replaced ASAP.
