Perfect Beach Getaway

This was a last minute vacation and hadn’t booked through VRBO before, so we weren’t sure what to expect. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. Room was clean, any questions we had were answered promptly, and we loved it. The beach was beautiful and just steps away. With all the units in the complex we were pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was. Had a wonderful time!

Great!

This was a clean room, location was wonderful! My only issue was that the picture of the room I thought I booked didn't have a futon....I don't think. My husband has a bad hip and had issues and we thought we would have a couch instead. Not a big issue, and I should have included that was necessary in my note when I booked. Communication with the owner was great, easy process checking in and out. Would definitely stay again! Thanks for a great experience for our first time at Atlantic Beach, NC😊

Always clean and comfortable condos

We have rented several different condos at Ocean Sands and all are comfortable, clean, and convenient location to the beach, shops, and restaurants. Perfect for my family of 3. Looking forward to our next stay in a few months. 🏖️💙

Second year - EXCELLENT vacation

We love this property! Will be coming back - such easy vacation- right on the beach, store next door if you need anything, tons of restaurants, a pool - really, nothing more we’d ever need. LOVE LOVE LOVE - and we are driving 9h for this- not a single doubt- it is worth it!!!

Perfect Getaway

This space is perfect for a quiet getaway. The building is located right on the beach, yet there’s minimal traffic. The area was quaint and quiet, the unit was spotless upon arrival. We spent Thanksgiving there and had everything we needed to cook our meals. Communication with Nick was seamless and he was always prompt. If you’re looking for a laid back place to get away ans recharge, this place is surely it.

Perfect for couple or small family

At one of our favorite beaches, this property was motel room size, but that didn’t hinder our family of 3 at all. Storage was the only thing that was a little tricky, we did unpack, and used the cabinets built in to what looks like used to be a closet. Our only recommendation would be modify that area and add drawers and clothing storage. There is cabinet storage in the small kitchen. Parking right in front of door, easy walk with a loaded beach cart for a relaxing day on a quiet clean beach. (We had to lift it over a couple of small stairs to get over dunes) The pool looked nice and clean but we are such beach lovers that we didn’t even get in. The bathroom near the pool was a short trip from the beach that kept us from having to go back the room. We’ll definitely be back!

The stay was great the only reason I’m not giving five starts is the apartment Is much smaller than it seems in pictures. But it works!Very close to the beach (back yard) and greet location easy to get off the island.

Great location

The decor was great, and you can’t beat the location! Beach access and quality was perfect for anyone, esp kids. It was well stocked, and the pool in good condition. However there was a strong musty smell, and while was nothing visible but I wasn’t confident it was mold-free. We did run the dehumidifier the whole time, which didn’t seem to help. I wanted to give this property a 5, but that smell needs to be addressed for the price.

Small but essential

Very small and tight getting around. No place to put luggage, or hide vacuum and roll away ned that we did not need. More storage space would be nice. Large frig and extra linens were nice. We would book again and recommend to others.

Perfect Getaway

This was a perfect beach getaway! This unit was cozy and beautifully decorated. A well working AC with a ceiling fan over the bed, internet and cable provided the perfect spot to cool off, watch TV, and take a break from the warmth of the beach. The beach is just a short walk from the door. A pool is nearby for a cooling swim. The location to nearby restaurants, grocery stores, and activities makes it an ideal place to stay!

Amazing!!!

This place was so sweet. I am handicapped so being close to the beach was something I had not done in about 10 years. Also being handicapped I was confined to the unit for periods of time and thanked the universe for its Wi-Fi and internet access. Tv was also an available distraction. Thank you for a great stay!

Spacious unit close to pool

Property is located on the front side of building so it's easy to get your items in and out without having to climb stairs. A few little hiccups but will be taken care of. Fast communication with the owner and great price for each weekday night.
