Weekend getaway

Great property. The ocean view from the bedroom is phenomenal. Be warned the entry to the building (level 2) smells like the trash room. That was the only unpleasant part of our stay. The unit itself was nice.

The Bedroom View is Everything

We loved this property. The location is right on the beach, and next to a great pool and beachside amenities such as a bar and restaurant. The bed wasn't very comfortable, it felt kinda stiff and cheap, but the view outside the bedroom window onto the beach was incredible. We had pretty poor weather our whole trip, and still found the view breathtaking. We'll be back here! Hopefully there is a new bed by then, but it was doable.

Gorgeous, exactly like photos

We booked a last minute trip for 4 nights and drove in from Texas. The condo was absolutely stunning just like the photos. The views from the bedroom and living room/balcony are incredible. There were 3 nice chairs for use, 3 boogie boards (2 not in usable condition), an umbrella (probably due for an upgrade, even a slight breeze wanted to take it out of the ground even with a sand anchor we went and bought), and some sand toys! Probably our only real complaint is that when we arrived Sunday evening, we pulled the sofa bed out for our kids to sleep on and there was no bedding anywhere in the unit. When I called, she said everyone leaves at 5 (check-in is at 4) and that there was nothing we could do until the next day. So that sucked! Thankfully there were throw pillows and my kids brought lap blankets in the car! Oh and the AC unit and the washer/dryer are all extremely noisy but, still better than a hotel stay!!! It was nice taking home clean towels & clothes. We would for sure stay here again!

First Time Condo Stay

This was my Wifes and I first time staying at a condo, and we had a very good and memorable experience. The room was nice and clean and accommodated all of our needs. The room view and living area balcony view was amazing!

Everything was great. Except the one thing. It’s the mattress. It was the most worst mattress we’ve ever slept on and we had mostly no sleep. Every time he or I rolled over, this mattress makes the most round squiggly noise! We had the worst nights. That ruined everything about this property. We can’t come back to this.

Great area but condo needs updating.

The property was very nice, beach was beautiful. They were doing renovations to the building so it was a little unorganized. Our unit needed updating very badly. Air conditioning never cooled the bedroom. With these issues resolved, I would stay there again.

Beautiful views from balcony

This unit is an older unit that needs tlc. With that said this is a very nice condo. We had no problems with keeping the temp at a very cool temp. Furniture is older but comfortable and very functional. We have no complaints about condo or property and would happily stay at this condo again.

Great location and view

The unit was kept up good enough for a beach vacation. Could use a little updates. The kitchen it a little out of date. The rest of the place was great. Really nice resort property. Super close the the beach and it was not to busy. Have to get out early if you want a good spot because the rental chair guys take up the whole beach!!!! Pool was clean and never too busy. The restaurants on the resort were decent but in the pricey side. Overall great place to stay. Would stay at this unit and/or building again.

A little deceiving

Well I can say that the pictures were a little deceiving considering what I found when I arrived at the property. As soon as my husband and I open the door we were greeted by a terrible mold or mildew smell which we ended up going and buying some gain Febreze to help with the smell. And the first night we were there we were both standing in ankle deep water in the shower and we had to call the rental agency and they were good to send someone in and stop the drain. But what bothers me about that is if someone was cleaning the bath The cleaner should have realized the bathtub would not drain and reported it before we got there so it makes me wonder how clean the bathtub really was. After my daughter got there a few days later she slept on the roll out couch and the mattress was horrible and it smelled disgusting. And we tried to cook in the kitchen on burners that would not fit

Was a Let Down for the Pricing

We have stayed at Beachside II the past 4 years. We love the location in Miramar & the immediate beach access. I want to make it clear that we are very, very low-maintenance people, so it takes a lot for us to be upset over accommodations. However, this particular condo was quite the let down for us considering the price we paid. It was more expensive than our previous 3 years & had a multitude of short-comings. The shower did not drain. If you took a 5 minute shower (or less) it didn’t matter, you ended up standing in ankle deep water, and we had to wait 20+ minutes in between showers as not to stand in each other’s old water. The kitchen sink did not drain well at all either. The master bedroom does not cool well, at all. We woke up every night sweating profusely. The couch cushions & rugs had stains on them, which made us feel as though the condo had not been cleaned properly. The sofa sleeper which our friends used was extremely uncomfortable & not up to par with the past sofa sleepers they have used in recent years at Beachside II. Overall, we were just extremely let down with this particular condo with the hiked rates we had to pay compared to previous years. Maybe the owners should be checking in on the status of their property & major systems more often if they want to charge a premium price. We would not recommend this condo for anything other than the location & proximity to the beach. Even then, there are cheaper, more quality condos in the same building.
