We got off to a rough start--our key cards wouldn't work, returned to get new ones only to find someone already in our room, returned to front desk to get a new room/card. At least they gave us a free breakfast for all the hassle. We are used to getting free breakfast and wifi, so this hotel felt overpriced.

O boy, where do I start? I got to the hotel at 3:30pm and I do the contactless check-in. I proceed to bring my stuff to the room and lo behold, there is someone still in the room! I went to the front desk and they got us a different room which was not what I paid for. I paid for the King Suite which is supposed to be the bigger room and then they didn't even make it right and put us a cheaper room then what I paid for! I went back to the front desk and told them that I would like a refund on the room because it wasn't what I paid for and the lady said they would make it right. We left and went to the horse races and we got back to the room about 10:30 and they decided to give us some cheap ass vouchers for their small bar and lame breakfast. The bar closed at 11 and we are going to the State Fair in the morning so I don't want their breakfast. In my opinion, they should've refunded the whole room because of their screw up but because of their terrible customer service I would not recommend staying here if you are worried about the type of room you are getting or the condition/cleanliness of it. It has been a very disappointing experience with Hilton and it makes me question if the brand is starting to decline and I might not use Hilton in the future. Also, they have a small pool and no hot tub.
