The staff was very friendly/pleasant. The property is maintained but dated. Great location right off I95.
The hotel was very dirty. The carpets in the entire building looked like they had not been vacummed in over 4 months. our bedroom carpet was filthy. There were visible stains all over and we had to keep our shoes on in the room because our feet would be dirty from walking around! The handrails in the stairway were so caked with dirt it was disgusting. My children held onto the rail on the way down to breakfast and their hands were BLACK from touching it. I wanted to puke. I let one of the staff know how gross the rails are and they replied 'we have a very clean hotel here' I was so disappointed in this hotel stay. the location was convienent as it was near the beach, a zoo, and lots of shopping. The women who worked the breakfast area were hard workers, but they got pretty rude right at 9 am when they closed the breakfast room. The last thing is they had about 3 or 4 front desk staff working most of the time. They should take one or two of those people and make them clean. The TV in our room was also broken. And the staff informed us they will not clean our room at all for our three night stay, which is fine, but i set the trash out in the hallway as i have an infant and the maids took my trash cans and never returned them, I asked three staff to get some trash cans for me and in the three night stay nobody returned them to me. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.
The staff were professional and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good with cheese omelets and sausages although not served until 7:00 am. This is a plain jane hotel that is in desperate need of upgrading. It is Ok for a 2.5 star (out of 5) hotel.

Electrical panels was a issue, had some Broken outlets, with wires showing. Also some didn’t work completely, phone wouldn’t work, thank goodness we had our cellphones, but still phones should work if you have them. I was told the phone company was called and said they are working. For a company that held higher standards, i think this one need to up their standards. Very disappointed

Comfortable beds and great breakfast made me add this hotel to the preferred list.

My stay at La Quinta did not happen because Orbitz messed up the reservation. Orbitz didn't confirm the reservation with La Quinta before confirming it with me. I found out 5 minutes before boarding my flight to Florida. This is totally Orbitz's fault. Thanks Orbitz. I will never use your booking website again. You wrecked my vacation.
The room was okay not great. It needs updating. I could also hear the person in the room next door snoring. It was quite a distraction when i was trying to go to sleep.

I booked a 3 night stay at this property and found it to be in such disrepair and so dirty that I could not even stay there a single night and never unloaded my bags to the room for fear or possibly bringing home bedbugs as the white sheets had little tiny blood spots on them and the tile grout in the bathroom was black it was so old. The room and halls smelled terribly unpleasant through my mask. The pool is closed down due to needed repairs. And upon check in had a woman in a wheel chair with her leg bleeding screaming and swearing about being a guest there and it about an altercation she had just had with the lawn maintenence staff. Do not stay here, do not waste your money and book here. I checked in and never went back to stay found a hotel that although it cost 4x what I paid here was at least safe and clean.
