Overall, this was a great resort to stay at, but there were some things that weren't great too. It was small, which I liked, with 80 rooms total, 10 on each floor. I asked to be close to the pool because I just got out of hospital and was basically on bedrest, and the hotel accomodated me. The pool is gorgeous, and was never busy, the area around the pool and on the beach was the same - there were always tons of loungers free. However, Expedia said there was room service, and there was not. I believe the posting also said there was a coffee shop or more places to eat. There is only one restaurant and one pool bar. I had a kitchenette, and there were pots and a pan, but no utensils for them. Only forks, knifes, and spoons. There were dishes as well, but no dish soap or cloths, so I had to order those with an Uber Eats grocery order. That was really annoying. There were no free water bottles, other than the two in the room. And the shower was always cold. But the room was mostly clean, a few food smears on cupboards in the kitchen and other places it wasn't cleaned super well. The restaurant was only open for breakfast and lunch - you had to walk over to their sister hotel for dinner, and I couldn't walk that far. Also, the lunch menu was very limited and not super healthy. There were hamburgers, hot dogs, nachos, chicken fingers, and I think steamed salmon. So I ordered from Uber Eats a lot. Overall, I enjoyed it, but would try somewhere else next time.

Stuff was really nice, Paul and Adolpho. The stuff in lobby really helpfull and nice. Rooms were clean and really nice. Angelica the concierge from all the palace hotels was really awesome and helpfull. All dinner reservation went really smooth . We had a birthday in our family trip and she helped us with informations where we can get cake and decorate the room . I would go there again . Loved the place ❤️

The hotel is in a great location near very good restaurants. We liked the views. The hotel was good but showing its age. There are a couple of things that they can improve on... - we got 4 small bottles of water to drink when we got there. After a day and bottles not replaced they said we had to ask for replacing and had to go get them. Hmm...no thanks. We got water at the Oxo. - At the end of stay we had to wait for someone to go and check the room and they expected to cut the bracelet that we had to wear during the stay. These are fine but they could send you a message before your last day telling you all the details to be able to checkout. They could even use Whatsapp which they say we could use but when i did with questions about the water there was no response.

We wer very happy with the condition of the resort. our room was very clean and modern. The service around the pool however was poor. The server walked right by us and would ask couples by us if they wanted anything. The pool bar tender didn't know how to make many drinks.

I have stayed at The Luna Palace the last 3 times I have gone to Mazatlan and love this hotel. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. Every room has a fully equipped kitchen.

We really did enjoy the property and the staff were all awesome. The beach is perfect with soft sand and miles of walking to the south. Breakfast and lunch was good but limited with the options. We felt, and we often travel to Puerto Vallarta, that the safety of the city, not the property, was a little iffy. Federally police frequently patrolled the area. One late night during our stay I heard 2 gun shots followed by numerous police racing down the street in the direction of the sounds. We really did like our stay but I don’t know if we will return until we hear better reports about the safety of Mazatlán.
