Restaurants were short on staff And staff was rude

Beautiful property...friendly staff. Wish they had an airport shuttle.

The hotel and facilities for dinning, recreation and relaxation are all outstanding. The rooms on the lagoon side provide excellent views of the courtyard and beach. Great for a get away or family experience.

Best Breakfast, can walk to village for dinner and around neighborhood for exercise. Room furnishing could be updated. Bluetooth radio & more modern- staff great & rooms clean!

Staff is wonderful, I've been going there for past 10 years and I did notice it needs to be updated. The lady who cleaned our room didn't change the sheets and there was old blood on the bottom sheet

The hotel was remodeling the pool area so there was considerable noise and naturally no access the the most popular pool. The hotel is clean and comfortable but starting to show its age in places. Service was good and the food was decent.

the westin lake las vegas was the perfect getaway, all inclusive resort thats perfectly far enough away from vegas to kick back and slow down, but close enough to jump back into the action of the strip at the same time! the pool(s) were perfect, plenty of shade, and the 8pm poolside movie nights were a nice surprise.

It was my lucky weekend getaway!! I booked a junior suite and when we arrived, staff told me that they were out of the room and gave us the best suite CASBAH - 1600 sq ft with bedroom, living room, dinning room, walk in closet, a full bath with hot tub, guest bathroom and a full size fridge and microwave.. A huge patio with sitting area with pool and lake view.. What more can you ask for? :) Also, you get to spin the wheel when you check in, and I got a 'WILD' and guess what?! I get to choose ANY prizes on their board, so I chose a free breakfast buffet for 2. May be I should have bought lottery that day! Friendly staff overall at check in, beach rental, Rick's cafe! The only disappointment was the lake closed on Sat 8/27/16 and we were not able to go kayaking or stand up paddle (which was my original plan to do both) they said it was closed due to storm the day before (even thought there was no rain) too bad we only stay for one night and check out time is 11am; so we got to rush to breakfast, then kayaking (1st come 1st serve) 1 hr free included in resort fee.. But we didn't have enough time to do the stand up paddle. Actually you can stay as long as you want even after you check out. But the only thing I was concerning about not able to shower after.. It was a fun, relaxing sweet luxury stay!

NOT REALLY WHAT I EXPECTED, THEY CHARGE RESORT FEES WHICH I THINK WAS UNFAIR CONSIDERING THAT LAKE WAS CLOSED TO PUBLIC, ALSO ELEVATORS DIDNT WORK PROPERLY AND LIGHTS WENT OUT AROUND 9PM, WE HAD TO LEAVE OUR ROOM FOR A WHILE!!!

I would give this hotel 5's across the board except our furniture was a little to used looking- as in the leather chair in our room was missing HUGE pieces of leather. Most of the arm was missing the leather, and the front part of the seat had at least a patch missing the size of both my hands side by side. Other than that it was a pleasant stay, and the food was delicious.

Great room , beautiful location , peaceful relaxing hideawayfrom the real world .... STAY HEREE.

First time staying here , this is an amazing place to stay, my daughter had a blast at the pool (especially the water slide!) the view of Las Vegas lake is so tranquil and beautiful, plenty things to do for kids and adults. Will definitely coming back!!! If you want to do family Vegas trip , this hotel will be a good choice. Experience Vegas in different way!

This was an excellent place to stay with teen age kids. They can roam the resort on their own without worrying about them. There was plenty for the kids to do so the parents could relax.

If you want a break from the craziness of Las Vegas, this was a great hotel! Nice views. Good family hotel also.

Everything looks beautiful everything was nice but the plumbing in the room. water was backing up in the tub and carpet appears dated and it cost over $100 to use the Cabana by the pool come on

I have stayed here a few times now... I tend to expect it to be peaceful which it never is. Las time I was there the local police department (yah) rented the upper pool for their annual party. They had blocked off the pool so no one else could enter... and proceeded to blast music be disruptive and disrespectful to all the other guests and even flash their PD status. It was really a bummer. I did talk to the General Manager who apologized and took care of some charges. He said it was unusual. On my most recent trip the entire place was full of high school basket ball teams (girls). You can guess how relaxing that stay was. The property is beautiful and apparently the banquet and event staff is very good... there seems to always something going on. My suggestion is to call and ask what may be happening BEFORE you reserve.

Room was wonderful and view was incredible. Room key did not work when returning from pool had to wait about an hour to get new one, would have been nice if offered to have drink while we waited! Room was clean and room service was nice

Wonderfully away from the hub-bub of Vegas. Beautiful building, outdoor spaces, great food options, spa services. Pricey amenities, but worth it!

The hotel was beautiful. We felt it was a great price for what we got, however we did go in the off season. It was colder so we didn't get to utilize any of the outdoor amenities. The pool & hot tub were open but it was just to cold to go in. The hotel was in a more quiet area, away from town, which is nice if you are trying to get away. However, if you plan on going in to town a lot, specifically to the strip, you will be doing a lot of driving. It was worth it in my opinion. One bummer is the cute village that is around the corner that was supposed to have a ton of shops & restaurants & a casino was basically a ghost town. It has all been shut down & deserted. There were a couple restaurants left.
