From the nice gals at check-in, to the views from our room, this resort is absolutely wonderful. The room is very clean, all amenities, and a full size coffee pot! Loving this place :)

Checked in at 8:30 and bar/restaurant were both closed.

Not what was expected; main pool down for maintenance, extra charge for use of hot springs even for room-paying guests.

The location is beautiful. The rooms have wonderful views of the Carson Valley. The historic town of Genoa is a 1 1/4 mile walk from the resort on a paved path. Just a heads up, the mineral springs and spa is not included unless you are a time share guest. The cost is $55 per day for non-time share folks.

There were so many mosquitoes! The rooms weren’t clean you could see dust bunnies on the baseboards and dust/webs in the top corners of the room. The first room we were in the sofa sleeper was broken. So they switched us to a premium room so I do have to give them that. It’s just a bummer with all the bugs they had because we couldn’t even enjoy the outdoor patio.

Very clean, effective services.Good location. Would be very nice to have discount for using Hot springs fro hotel guests.

Staff was friendly, good food. Make reservations for dinner if on a weekend. Very unique place, relaxing and enjoyable.

The facility itself was lovely. Perfect for our large family with lots of small children. The staff, however, were rude and short upon check in and really any time we encountered them throughout our stay they were just blah about it. Because of how well the rooms and facilities worked for us I would still recommend it to friends and family, but don't expect the warm welcome you might get at other hotels.

Good spa but a little pricey for what is offered Great food and restaurant and bar Could use some upgrading in the units like the TVs If you don't like wild life this is not the place for you condos are situated by a bird refuse and the geese can be noisy

We got more than we expected. We actually upgraded our room & the front desk staff surprised us with a super nice suite. Wish we could have stayed more than 1 night. So grateful & looking forward to a return stay late Fall.

Loved staying here EXCEPT for the pull out bed in the living room. It was so awful, I had to sleep on the floor. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay, the kitchen, bathroom, and sleeping room were great. We loved our dinner at the restaurant, and breakfast at the cafe was very nice. If you enjoy cycling, bring your bike, there's great biking along the road that Wally's is on. We did the Groupon "dip and dine" which is a great deal considering they will charge you $50 plus / person to use the hot springs. For $20 more, you can get a lovely 3 course dinner and access to the hot springs.

All in all was ok. Had to move rooms after two nights of a three night stay. Thought that was rediculous? Went from a condo with an awesome view to a condo with a view of the parking lot. UGGGGH!

David Walley's was a quiet and peaceful place to stay. The view from our balcony and the pool was fabulous. The restaurant served us a very large delicious meal. The waiters were kind and quick to get us what we needed.

The room was perfect. The service by staff was great. Our big disappointment was that access to the spa itself was not included in the room price. We were not informed of this when we reserved the room. On previous visits to David Walley's, the spas, pool, sauna, etc. were part of the package. We were quite annoyed to find that it would have cost us an additional $50.00 each to use the spas, which were a major reason for reserving at Walley's in the first place. We declined, and enjoyed the room and view, but we will not be back.

Other than the hotel's remote location, the resort facility, hotel cleaness, all the Condo+Suite like guest room amenities were absolutely great. Definitely recommand to others.

the hotel itself was fine, but the distance it was supposed to be from south lake tahoe casinos was not projected correctly. it took half an hour to get there from the hotel, and to get back in the middle of the night we had to beg taxi drivers to take us back to our hotel and none would because of the distance. i was misinformed form your website on the distance and did not appreciate the inconvenience it caused me that evening.
