"Being a big "Fixer Upper" and Chip & Joanna Gaines fan, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to book this property! The grounds and home were beautiful, and you could tell it was totally Joanna's vibe inside. We even watched the Fixer Upper episode where they remodeled the Barndominium while we were there...that was fun! We were looking around at everything as they were doing it, which was really entertaining. (Season 3, Episode 7).The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The property was fairly well stocked with household items, minus a few minor things (salt & pepper, napkins), but nothing to complain about.The grounds were pretty and it was quiet and peaceful there. It was entertaining to watch the family of deer pass by through the large french doors.The banquet table is so impressive! We ate meals there since one of our party was elderly and couldn't really do the stairs to go up where the kitchen was. That actually took a little getting used to (having the kitchen and living area upstairs), and may be something to consider for future visitors.Overall, we really enjoyed it. It wasn't just a place to stay, it was an experience!"
