Quiet, nice size for 2. Door lock was wonky on arrival but hosts were in the area doing work and stepped right up to get us in and the lock fixed. I am not a fisherman but a nearby dock and boat rental should appeal to them. Heater worked but was VERY loud when it clicked on! Enjoyed our stay in the area and the accomodaitons.

Not happy

Although the place was clean, there was an infestation of baby cockroaches. The big ones only came out at night but the babies were always on the counter, sink and stovetop. We were afraid to even cook our food or use any utensils/pots/pans. So we drove to town to eat. Although there is a restaurant at marina they probably have roaches too. Cockroaches are NOT a bug of being surrounded by nature!! The shoreline and beach area is full of debris and trash. We did enjoy our time on our boat fishing!

It was a nice cabin, it was pretty. You can walk down to the beach . The only down fall is the dock.

Overall I will stay again. It's perfect for a little get away for the weekend or a week

Great getaway!

The reviews for the property were varied, but I’m so glad we went! The views were beautiful, we hiked an easy trailhead to a pretty sitting spot, and it had everything we needed. Realize that this is a cabin next to woods and water, a great fishing spot but you’ll be apt to find a spider web or perhaps even have a cat visit your porch. We’ll be back!

Lake shore cleanup desperately needed

Cabin was nice, but only one electrical outlet in the main room at the sink and one electrical outlet in the bedroom. But there was so much trash on the lake shore down from the cabin. Everywhere. Why wouldn't you clean that up? So sad to see so much garbage on such a beautiful lake.

convient fishing cabin

Cozy fishing cabin for my dad and I to pre-fish and fish a tournament situated right on the lake. Located next to marina/boat ramp. Also, a couple of hundred yards from a great restaurant that is open on the weekends and I believe open during the week later in the year.Lake is loaded with bass, crappie, and strippers. Probably catfish also but we didn't try for them.We will defiantly stay again for our next tournament.

Great cabin! Nasty lake

The area around the lake was full of trash and limbs a broken down pontoon boat was our view.. the beach was full of buzzards.. not just a couple 30-40.. the cabin was great and very clean.. the area around the cabin was clean.. but the beach was only a few feet away covered with birds

I ENJOYED MY STAY VERY PEACEFUL LOCATION YOU ARE LITERALLY A COUPLE OF STEPS AWAY FROM THE LAKE.CABIN WAS JUST ENOUGH ROOM FOR US. I WISH THE BED WAS AT LEAST A QUEEN SIZE. CABIN NEEDS A LITTLE MORE TLC FAR AS CLEANING. AND PESTCONTROL NEEDS TO BE A WEEKLY THING IF ITS NOT. BUT NOW THAT I KNOW WHAT TO LOOK FOR WHEN BOOKING I WILL VISIT AGAIN.

Birthday Getaway

We loved everything about this property. There were many things to do from swimming at the beach located steps from our cabin to renting boats or just sitting on the large back deck of our cabin watching the activities. The space was just enough for us. The only negative thing I could say is that they might want to pay special attention to the many spider webs throughout.

I had reserved a smaller cabin which was advertised incorrectly on the web site as having 3 beds and a sleeper sofa. we needed 3 beds. I was contacted 4 days prior to our arrival that the cabin reserved only had one bed and a sleeper sofa. I responded that would not work for us! The Representative stated the website posting was their mistake and they would upgrade our group to a 3 bed room cabin which was very nice cabin at no additional charge. The representative (Jessica) was very professional, and accommodating! we had a very good stay.
