Our stay began with our check in at the front desk who notified us that any request for anything in this #201 unit is handled solely by the property owner. The front desk said that the only thing that they’re able to do is to place the 1 authorization hold on my card for the parking pass. Anything other than that - “contact the property owner.”Which leads me to the next issue of “CONTACTING THE PROPERTY OWNER.”We arrived to an extremely hot room. If you’re looking for a sauna - then, this is definitely the place to be. It is hot and humid! Despite the fans being on, you basically walk into an oven.We immediately messaged the “property owner” on the VRBO app and requested for assistance in obtaining the AC key (mind you, it is 25/day EXTRA on top of your enormous accommodations bill)No response.Two hours later, no response.After looking high and low, contacting the front desk (to no avail), and going as far as contacting the Castle Resorts who manages a good portion of this property - there was NO ac key!Sadly, we sat there in complete disbelief and frustrated that we were so hot inside of this room.Finally, my daughter had located a used looking black binder that had crinkled pages inside of plastic sheet protectors … and on page four or five of this binder - was the property owner’s from Homegrown Realty's contact number in tiny lettering.TWO HOURS LATER - We finally had AC.What a HORRIBLE experience. We spent the MAJORITY of our day uncomfortable
