Tent | Pool Firepit Lake Hot tub River Heat/AC
Spend your next vacation in the beautiful Texas Hill Country! Our glamping resort offers access to all the area’s best amenities - take a dip in our private resort pool, kayak on the lake, wade along the Guadalupe Riverbank and soak up some tranquility, or relax beneath the stars from the comfort of your own hot tub in your private yard. All this and more awaits you out here – come explore Basecamp Resort!
The Tent: - Combination a/c/heating unit with additional fans & space heaters - Efficiency-style setup; living and sleeping areas in one large room - Smart TV with Hulu - Seating for 4 with a couch and two chairs - Kitchenette with microwave, sink, small refrigerator/freezer, griddle & Keurig (no stove/oven) - King size bed with memory foam mattress and cozy cotton bedding - Large fully enclosed bathroom with double sinks and a bath/shower combination
Outdoors: - Large deck to enjoy beautiful views of the lake and surrounding hills - Your own attached yard with propane grill, fire pit and hot tub - Lake with kayaks for guest use; bring a pole and some bait and explore 3 other ponds - Private Guadalupe River access just ¼ mile from the tent - Resort Pool (heated during Spring Break) - Hiking trail
Important things to note: - The grill and fire pit are both propane, so there is no need to bring firewood or charcoal.
- Please keep in mind that while this is a fancy tent with air conditioning, it is still a tent. During the warmer months, the tent will get warmer during the day (usually cools anywhere from 10-20 degrees below the outside temperature depending on how hot it is) and gets really cool at night. In colder weather, the heating unit works well to keep the tent warm and we also provide an extra oil heater. There are large stone steps that you will need to climb to get to the front door.
- When the pool is heated (Spring Break only) it will be heated to 78-80.
- Pet Policy: We welcome dogs (max 2) for a $50 pet fee. We love dogs (we have 2 of our own) and we are super happy to be able to provide a pet friendly glamping resort. In order to keep the property dog-friendly, we kindly ask that you: 1- Do not bring your dog if they are barkers. To be respectful of other guests, we cannot allow dogs on the property that bark constantly and if this happens, you could be asked to leave. If you are unsure if your dog is a heavy barker, check with your neighbors ;) 2- Clean up after your dog, both inside and outside (we provide dog waste bags at the tent). 3- Do not allow your dog on the furniture; this means both the couch and the bed. 4- Dogs may not be left unattended inside the tent unless you bring a crate and they will not bark in your absence. 5- Dogs that bark when left alone may not be left in the yard unattended. 6- Dogs are not allowed in the pool area. There are no exceptions to this rule, as this is associated with Texas law. 7- There will be a $250 fee assessed if evidence is found that an undisclosed pet was brought onto the property. 8- Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and will help us keep the resort pet friendly for future guests!!! We do not allow cats on the property.
- Smoking of any kind is not permitted on the property.
- Parking and all resort amenities are for registered guests only.
- A rental agreement and damage deposit are required prior to arrival. A $300 credit hold will be placed on the guest's credit card two days prior to reservation date and released once the property has been assessed for damages.
We have 4 other cabins on the property, The Rocking F Rambler (1 BR), Carmel Cabin (1 BR), Casita Juanita (1 BR Efficiency) and The Lodge at Basecamp (4 BR w/ detached bunk room). We also have 4 additional glamping tents...bring your friends and family! Thank you for considering our experience in glamping...we hope to see you soon!

Quaint
My family of 4 enjoyed our stay here. It was not toddler-friendly, but we managed to leave without breaking anything. We loved kayaking on the little lake and enjoyed the short hike. The pool was only slightly heated (during Spring Break) but we got used to the chilly water. The propane grill and hot tub were both awesome. We couldnt get the fire pit to work so we used a lighter to roast marshmallows. Overall I would recommend staying here with kids over 3.

The name says it all!
This place is perfectly named Basecamp Resort. Very nicely built glamping tents set amongst the beautiful Texas Hill Country hills. We stayed here in middle of summer and the tents were still pretty comfortable with the air conditioning and fans. The property is very well kept and we lucked out and had the place to ourselves for most of our stay. We will be back!
The hot tube under the stars was spectacular ✨️ 👌
Very clean tent with everything you need and more.
Definitely will rent again.

Glamping at its finest
The property looks exactly as the picture depicts and honestly does not even feel like it's a tent. Super comfortable and cozy. Will be coming back!

Great spot
The property is unique, extremely clean and the hosts were very communicative and helpful. Cabins/tents have everything you'd need to prepare your own meals, and the beds and bathrooms are very nicely appointed and comfortable. Especially loved the visiting hummingbirds!

Nice Getaway
The accommodations are really amazing. So clean--could use a few more dishes and while I didn't mind the bath tub, I would not recommend for older people as it is a little hard to get into. The campsite is gorgeous- kayaks and paddle boards are provided (but there are only two of each) I highly recommend this place.

The perfect getaway
This Glamping tent was so cool! It looks like a tent but has AC, Tv, wifi, a small kitchen and a bathroom! This is now the only way I will “camp” haha. We loved that each tent had a grill and hot tub. This place has everything you need for a relaxing weekend and you barely need to leave the resort. We loved how peaceful the area was and that we had access to kayaks and fishing poles on their own small lake. They are adding more tents too so good for groups! We will definitely be back ☺️
