The house is beautifully decorated, and there is a clear intention to create a warm, inviting space. Two of the mattresses were outstanding, the ceiling fans were excellent, and the shower was very nice. The TV setup was also great and easy to use.Prior to arrival, we communicated that we would be arriving late from Austin and that we were in town to attend the AMS conference. Check-in itself was smooth.There were, however, several important realities of the stay that future guests should be aware of.The property is extremely close to a busy roadway, with loud cars driving just a few feet from the windows. Traffic noise was constant and disruptive, particularly at night, and it also made it difficult to use the home for virtual appointments and remote work during the day.The home was very cold due to winter weather, and the thin cotton blankets provided were not sufficient for the temperatures. There were three guests and three sleeping spaces listed, and we assumed blankets would be provided for each. However, only two beds had blankets, and the third sleeping space—a twin foldaway rather than a standard bed as it appears in the photos—had none. No additional blankets suitable for warmth or comfort, such as fleece or heavier blankets, were available. We purchased one blanket ourselves during the stay, and after further communication, one additional blanket was eventually delivered to the door.
