The Kimberley Hotel

Room is slightly larger than average at the price. The hotel is very clean but a bit old. Not much to complain about. The beds could use a bit more padding.

- Rooms are old and out dated. - Very uncomfortable bed, almost like a spring mattress. - Booked a non-smoking 1 Queen bed but was given smoking 2 double beds. - There are better hotels out there for the same price. Checked out of Kimberely then went to Eaton Hotel just few blocks away. Best decision of my life.

The location is great( in the central TST) but the rooms are really dated. Toilet is quite small that you cannot even close the door with mat on the floor. Really needs refurbishment.

I stayed at the Kimberley because of some meetings in Kowloon. The area is alive with small shops, eating places, and Chinese ambiance. I'm not a night life person so I can't evaluate that, but the streets are teeming with people and that makes for an interesting experience. The hotel has a spa with some gymtype of equipment bu, unlike many hotels, there is a charge for those facilities. I that's high on your priorities, this may not be the hotel for you, but otherwise it's convenient, and the staff people are very helpful.

Except the location of the hotel, I'm very disappointed of our stay in Kimberley Hotel. The lobby area is small, not enough seats for more than 5 people. The room lighting is bad, especially the bathroom. Our friends and I rechecked into the hotel after a short trip. All three of our rooms had issues. The air condition didn't work, the toilet water kept running, the room had strong smoking smell for a non-smoking room and the carpet has stain marks and filthy. We requested to change room, the first answer was no room available, the hotel was full. Finally we got a room, the front desk told us not enough worker to help us moving our luggage. From check in at 10pm, we didn't get to go to bed till 3am. what a bad experience!

This hotel is very close to shops, restaurants and MRT. All staffs is willing to help and answer every questions.

its very central to everything. Little old but does the job

there had big problem with internet and wifi that why problem

They had problem with wifi no good wifi and gym place

The hotel is only good for it's location. Amenities- I couldn't believe that they charge guests to use the business center $30 HKD for 30 minutes (I used only 5 mins and had to pay the full amount). Had free wifi but I needed the center to print out 1 document. I never heard of hotels charging for this. Room was kept clean though we were suppose to get 2 bottles of water free daily, there were days when we didn't get at all! Beds were not comfy- my back started to hurt because you can feel the springs. Staff was very helpful and the price was great for the location. Don't expect much, I'd rate it a 2.5-3 stars.

Stay at the center of the shopping mall near Thim Sha Tsui station

This hotel is alright, but not great. The room was outdated and slightly shoddy. Bathroom is small but really nice. There was a charge for wifi, but we used the ethernet cable in the room and were not charged. This is a very busy area in TST, with lots of touts offering tailoring or massages when you walk down the street. There is a very nice mall with good restaurant choices on the corner of Nathan Road. We chose this hotel because we needed a triple, but it was way overpriced for the quality of room.

Enjoyed my stay overall and value was very good for Toy Exhibition week. Location makes it easily walk able for TST area. Room slightly cramped but well appointed and fine for me by myself.

Not a luxury hotel but suitable for one night stays. It is typical of a HK hotel. I stay here often because of the value and the location to my business meetings. Since I am not in my room other than to sleep, the hotel is perfectly adequate to the fit the need.

convenient but cleanliness needs improvement! easy access to subway, restaurant and shopping.

Fantastic location majes up for the "okay" but unimpressive service. Room was extremely small but oh well it is HK. However, bathroom could be better - peeling paint and moldy looking fixtures. Reception service was unremarkable. And no free wifi :(

ok, except for the outrageous price for the sub-standard room

This is in a great location. However, the rooms are old and need an upgrade. Plenty of restaurants in the area and easy access to transportation.

I have stayed at the Kimberely Hotel many times and always find myself coming back. Although the hotel lacks much of the charm you may find at other much more expensive hotels, I find a good value for the money. Since much of time is out of the room it is more than adequate for my needs. The location is excellent and the staff is wonderful as well. There are no hassles with a quick and easy experience during check in and check out. Just what I need for business travel.

In the city to entertain clients and the hotel's location was perfect. The room is standard size as far as HK hotels. The room was clean and quiet. Everything you need is close by, money exchange, restaurants, MTR and shopping. Great value for the money.
