Got free upgrade to club level when I checked into the hotel. Room is very nice and come with Nespresso machine. Refrigerator is not very cold and no thermostat available to adjust the refrigerator temperature. Spacious lobby should have more seating for guests. No public restaurant at lobby unless you have a room key card.

Arrived hotel very early. Waited few hours for room to be available. Front desk agent gave us a free upgrade to a room that is more spacious than the one we reserved. Courteous staff member. Hotel has good security, even though it is connect to a shopping center. Requested room card to access elevator/lift. At night, a staff will be standing by the elevator asking what is your room number to verify you are their hotel guests.

The Royal Plaza Hotel is nice, the facility is well maintained but had a smelly stench in the hotel corridors that was hard to ignore. Not sure where it was coming from, either from the vents as an air freshener or carpet cleaner. As Hong Kong is hot and humid, the humidity enhances the odor of musk and cigarette smell as not all rooms are non-smoking. If you have a high sense of smell, walking to your room might be bothersome. The room itself also has the same smell but not as strong so bring your favorite candle, essential oils, incense sticks, etc. to mask the smell. Other than the stench this hotel is wonderful. Friendly and helpful hotel staff. The location is next to the MOKO Mall and Mong Kok East MTR Station (exit D to the mall to get to the hotel). The entire building can be overwhelming so ask for directions!

Very comfortable, every has been refreshed since we stayed about 5 years ago.

This is a beautiful hotel. Very clean and rooms are nice and comfortable. The swimming pool was okay. There is underwater music. I wish there was a larger shallow area for my 4 yo but there were steps and a ledge for her to play on. I was underwhelmed by the customer service. Ever time I asked for a restaurant reccomendation they said "La Scala" (The hotel restaurant). Little did they tell us that all we had to do was walk through the mall and on the overhead to Prince Edward street and there would be a plethora of choices. So the first night we ate at La Scala which looked gorgeous, unfortunately most of the food was horrible or bland including the lovely desserts which were over sweet. I only got a good recommendation after specifically asking the concierge for direction to a Dim Sum place. We also requested hand towels and extra shampoo twice and only got it on the third request. Also couldn't get any ice. The location was pretty good as the flower market is right downstairs and The MTR is close (although Mong Mok East Station seem to require a transfer to get to most tourist places or a little hike to Mong Tok station). I would have preferred a place that walks right onto the street and not such a big hill but still good locale.

It was pleasant experience. Location is good above shopping centre and have easy access to public transport (bus and train)

Outstanding staff, lots of options for food, close to public transportation.

It was a very nice and pleasant experience. Not very convenient to MTR but overall I would recommend this hotel to my friends

Had a pleasant stay, the room was a little small but comfortable. I had a corner room, so the view was good, temperature was good. The room did lack storage for clothes, probably because of the size of the room. I can't say enough about the staff, so polite and more than wiling to assist. The concierge staff was always helpful and willing to assist and suggest places to visit. The hotel was connected to a Mall, which is convenient. Taxi service always available right outside the hotel. Easy check in & out, can't wait to come back to Hong Kong, highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel and facilities are top notch. Close to shopping, subway stations. Our room smelled a little musty, but it was bearable.

This is Great Hotel. Rooms are Clean. Our room has a nice view of the city. Very Helpful and friendly staff. The hotel is located by a mall which is very convenient for shopping, buying groceries, and some fast food restaurants. The Ladies market is about 10 minutes walk from the hotel. The only thing I can complain about are the Toiletries. There are 4 of us staying in a room and we were only given 2 soaps. We have to do this for 2 days straight. The situation was easily corrected by calling the front desk.

I'm glad that I stayed up in this area of Kowloon, which is much more interesting and authentic than staying along the waterfront area where the ferries are. The Royal Plaza is situated in busy area where the night markets are, attached to a new mega mall and there are great places to eat all over. They offer a shuttle (although be sure to be at the pick up spot early or the driver will just leave not waiting a few minutes) and the subway line is right by the hotel. Nice room, very quiet and great view.

The hotel was very lovily, but hard to find from the street. There are signs of the Hotel name, that will lead your to the direction. The plus is the hotel is located in mall along with MTR (bus system). The hotel also has a shuttle service to the MTR station and to Kowloon (Another tourist attraction). Staff was very attentative, polite and spoke english. The room was not to small fits 2 queen size bed and enought rooom to walk around. One down side, we had another room at the end of the hall, but you had to talk down 7 steps with the large luggages. Older folks didn't like that.

Roomy and good friendly staff service. Easy access to MTR transportation. Shopping mall is accessible from hotel. Good hotel to stay in.

Awesome hotel, would def come back when in HK. Just wish staff could speak fluent English but not a big deal. Managed to communicate with each other.

Situated next to a big mall. Close to streets of shopping and food. Subway station is also close by.

Very nice hotel , great staff, got the club suite...nice buffet in the morning.

i love this hotel. the only thing i dun like is its late check-in. you hv to wait long to get into your room if you came in on an early flight. other hotels will let you in early free of charge. this hotel has a check in time of 3pm. earliest you can get your room is 1:30pm. other than that its awesome. housekeeping ladies are very polite and nice to guests. room is clean and replenished with supplies.

Good location, very Clean, and comfortable room. This is the only hotel in Hong Kong that I've known that their room size is large enough to fit 2 queen beds.

I got the good price on this website , and i stay on this hotel for 3nights, the location is good, very close to the subway station, and the shopping mall, and the hotel room is very good, will book this hotel next time.
