Great stay

We had a wonderful week. The rental was just as described. We had everything we needed. The location is perfect. You have an easy walk to the beach and a quick drive, bike or trolly ride to Pine street. We will look forward to staying there again!

Very cute house

Great neighborhood. Quiet and friendly. House is small- like a 2 bedroom apt, but it was fine for us- as we were only two. Nice backyard. Primary bathroom should be updated. Hence the 4 star instead of 5 star review.

Holmes Beach Vacation

The property was clean and close to the beach as described. We ran into a minor issue with the freezer and reported it. The manager came by the next morning (Sunday) to check it out. All’s well. We had a most pleasant stay!

Nice Family Vacation

Very nice place to stay for our family vacation. The place was clean and had everything we needed, from beach chairs and wagon, to kitchen supplies to cook dinner for the family when we decided to eat in. The island was beautiful and the trolley was a plus. We will definitely be back!

almost perfect except for some serious dust/mold issues

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay to & found majority of home to be clean. It was well decorated and very close to beach! It had beach chairs, sufficient towels, umbrella, etc. Bathrooms are outdated as previous reviewers mentioned, but not big deal. Biggest complaint is that in all of the ceiling vents it appears there was either significant dust build up or black mold, leaning toward mold. I think people deserve to know this before booking a place. Tried to get them to correct it by calling them but no follow up with me so I feel its necessary to leave a review warning people who have issues with mold.

die Lage - nur 5 min. vom Strand. Ausstattung war komplett. Sogar alles notwendige für den Strand (Liegestühle, Sonnenschirme). Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter war schnell und hilfreich.

Lovely home, nicer than in the pictures. On a quiet street, only a block from the beach. It had everything we needed, including beach chairs and umbrellas. Would definitely stay here again!

Location is great, house clean and rental company responsive. No cable tv though it was advertised to have cable. Only had streaming. Bathrooms and furniture very dated, but overall the house and location were great for us. Would stay there again.

Holiday vacation

The home location to the beach was great. All items in the home were very good with the exception of the living room seating. The outdoor patio and yard space was great. The backyard is partially fenced and was very private despite being as close to neighbors. I would return!

Good location not too far from beach, Fran Maxon Real Estate checked with us as needed

Good, we did have a problem with fire on cable line outside, so out of power and internet for awhile, but it was all handled well by Fran Maxon Real Estate

Quiet neighborhood; house within one block from beach

Awesome property that was a close walk to the beach. Home was very clean in a quiet neighborhood. The AC unit is older and had trouble cooling the home in late afternoon heat. Only reco would be to consider replacing mattresses in both rooms as they were very soft.

Best place to stay while on the island!

I chose this amazing cottage not just to advertisement but because review after review rated this as the most peaceful and no stress vacation ! From the time I booked they were at my side, advocating for a great stay and always asking if anything was needed. I had a major hurdle happen in Alabama on my way down from MN and all the staff reached out to help. The yard is fenced so for my dogs, they had a blast! The beautiful white sand and sunsets are a step away. Book now!!

Great place!

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is great for walking to the beach. Shops, and restaurants are nearby but may require a mode of transportation. The place had everything we needed and was decorated with a great beach vibe. The outdoor space was an added bonus. I had a few issues with the internet. The router is in the other unit so in order to reset it you need to contact the property management company who was prompt in responding. I was working remotely and was able to use my hotspot but this could be inconvenient for others. Overall we were very pleased and would certainly consider coming back again!
