Upon arrival, there was a youth hockey team running everywhere throughout hotel. Parental supervision of said youth was non-existent. Staff did a poor job of managing the chaos. One parent was completely belligerent and was strewing foul language. He should have been arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. Worst hotel experience in sixty years of travel for both business and leisure.

I split and fell at entrance 1 and my food went flying. There is so much to share but I won’t. Except management still care except to replace my food with hotel food and never again follow up. When I followed up he said well you declined medical attention. So that makes me okay. Do you always seek medical attention when you fall. No. Also next morning mention door lock for room 335 doesn’t work properly and front desk didn’t even document. This hotel is more consistent with being a budget hotel - I went to school at Hope college and have stayed at this property several time in 20 years and it’s the same furniture- no USB ports and everything is the same. It’s like I went back in time.

Everything was good from the check-in process, to room, to check-out. Great hotel!

The hotel is a large one. It was very quiet. It is quite dated inside, but was comfortable.

Property really dated. Dinning options and breakfast options were really depressing

We like the pool, appreciate that the water is warm. The bathroom is cramped-the shower door hits the toilet when it is opened and it’s necessary to open the door to the bathroom to have enough room to get into the shower. The toilet paper is hung about midpoint of the toilet which is impossible to access while on the toilet. Check in clerk was a bit rude-we wanted to know what room we were scheduled to get before he finalized it in the computer as we had stayed in a room that had a bad bed. We didn’t want that room again. Clerk ignored our questions and just entered info in computer. Hotel is showing its age. Not a lot of guests when we were there

Loved the warm water in the swimming pool. Not a fan of the split garbage cans to separate paper and plastic. Didn’t know what goes where-what do you consider alcohol wipes or dental floss??suggest they go back to regular trash cans

Appreciated being able to check in early. Appreciated being able to add snacks to hotel room cost.

Everything was fine except our noisy refrigerator. Also, COVID may have closed the hot tub, but that was a little disappointing.

The absolute worst!!!I certainly wouldn’t recommend this hotel.i mean where do I start from the minute I checked. In it was a nightmare! My room was downgraded which I was not informed of.. I of course found out after my third attempt of keys I had to go down and get myself even though I called front dest! The gentleman working was not concerned nor of help in any matter!! Once I finally got.in my room which was freezing 62!dego.We turn the heat up and when a good 25 minutes of no response from the thermostat I again called front desk who says it takes a while to work.. I again have the

Nice property. Actually one if the better choicea in the area.

Still had everything closed even though restrictions were lifted. I booked at a fare of $84.06 but was charged $104.06. Not quite sure where the extra $20 came into play. Room was very well cleaned, staff was non-existent.

Easy access to Downtown Holland ... Nice rooms and friendly staff. Plenty of parking!

The desk clerk thought it was more important to talk on her cell to her supposed manager than take the time to check us in. But after 10 minutes we got to our room which was clean on the surface but not really clean. Hallways and stairwells were not clean neither

Strong Positives about the Double Tree: good cleaning/COVID-19 policies, plenty of open space, comfortable beds, nice facilities (although pool closed due to governor shutdown order) Negatives: Indicate a grabn'go breakfast--only coffee, poptart, granola bars--no fruit, no water no juice. Breakfast hours were from 4:30-9:30 even on weekend (not a typo).

was pretty out dated, things looked a little old and in need of up keep
