Come join the growing list of guests who have found relaxation and the perfect place to unwind! True cottage luxury comfort in our exquisite loft overlooking beautiful Black Lake. Vaulted varnished wood ceilings drape over a wide open floor plan gives you plenty of room to roam. Large windows provide lots of breeze so you probably won't need to use the air conditioning, but its there if you decide to.. The living room/kitchen common area offers plenty of counter space and a large island as one option for cooking and serving, living room has a couch, big comfy chair with ottoman and a chaise lounge, and another bay window bed all of which can be utilized as sleeping areas. The bedroom has a super comfy king size bed as well as a cozy bay window bed perfect for kids or shorter people. The common area provides a large solid cherry wood legal desk with a print/fax/copy station work area so you can accomplish almost any task during your stay here. The large bathroom doubles as a laundry room with full size washer and dryer so there's no need to spend your travels in a laundromat. Outside the glass double sliding doors to the large deck with a 5 burner gas grill you can use to create your perfect summer feast! The Eastern facing deck is the perfect setting to start your day with a cup of coffee as you take in the breathtaking sunrise over the Lake. All bedding, pillows, towels, and linens are provided as are the necessary items such as toilet paper, paper towels, various cleaning items, garbage bags, propane for grill, dishes and utensils. Please feel free to ask us any questions as we are here to make sure your stay is as care free and worth it as every trip away from home should be!

Stay away this scam
I reserved this property for our end-of-summer vacation from 8/13-8/18. Two days before our check-in, the property owner offered me a different property than what was listed. She said the house is bigger with two beds. She did not contact me through VRBO, but texted me directly. After driving 450 miles, we arrived at the property around 8 pm. The house was surrounded by all sorts of trash. The house she offered is a trailer like a dumpster, which is not in a livable condition. She did not let us in. I can only take a peek of the inside. We brought three kids and our dog. Everyone was hungry and tired. It was difficult to find another place with our dog. We had to drive another 8 hours back home. I contacted the owner and VRBO for a refund. But the owner did not respond. VRBO did nothing but asked owner for a refund. VRBO will not do anything if the owner does not give our money back. It is a nightmare.

Perfect Getaway
My husband and I were just looking for somewhere quiet to go just to be alone. This was perfect. He could go and fish from the boat launch not to far from the house and I could get some time to myself. We cooked dinner on the grill and just enjoyed are time there together. Our host was great and very easy to get ahold of. Definitely would stay again.

Beautiful Loft on Black Lake
Lon and Lisa are fantastic hosts! The loft was beautifully redone and decorated very nicely. They also accommodated our dogs and another sleep situation to make us more comfortable. Definitely staying with them again!
