Perfect Place for us

We had a perfect weekend of celebrating my 40th birthday! The pool was ideal to entertain four teenagers and the separate downstairs bunk room. Plenty of rooms and gathering spaces for the adults upstairs. Plus the beach was a couple blocks away, along with lots of great restaurants and little shops. We loved the location. We will definitely try to rent the space again! Thanks so much for making my birthday so special.

Gulf shores annual trip

This property was very nice and is one of our favorites so far we have stayed in many locations of the past 10 years ! I love the coziness of it. The Poole was a winner and the teenagers love that we were so close to everything that they could walk to and have fun. We were just a block away from the beach so that was a good thing too sure hope to stay here again. Perfect place for a family getaway.

Wonderful Place

We had the best time. It was my kids and my mom. The older kids loved being down in their own little area. The place was clean and had a lot of space for all of us. We loved how we could walk every where everything was so convenient!

Gulf Family Vacay

I have had poor experiences in the past with vacation rentals; times the owner had canceled the request 24 hours or less before my stay, and it left me uneasy and scrambling to find a place to enjoy the trip. I was pleased to see this property did not, especially with 6 adults, 2 kids and a dog. I searched many properties before deciding; we needed enough rooms, dog friendly wasn't a deal breaker, but glad we were able to bring ours. There was only one review for me to go off of, so I know how important this is for others. The Pros: Budget friendly for our group Nice set up with 3 beds upstairs and one on lower/street level Kitchen/nook area is nice for gathering/meals as well as the enlclosed porch off of the kitchen Within walking distance to the beach (even with 2 toddlers and a wagon of beach items) Gift shops, a few restaurants and even dollar general are all within walking distance; especially if you need something quick like milk, sunscreen, an umbrella etc. Ample parking; at least 4 vehicles Back yard for kids/pets; outdoor seating as well All beds seemed to be comfortable for all guests Cons Wanted to sit outside at night downstairs in back yard, but there was only 1 light working, so it made it impossible for us to actually do so; esepciallly with how the wiring is set up with the downstairs room, and how the light turns on outside; not a deal breaker, but something we had looked forward to using, and could not. Overall cleanliness of downstairs bed; a bit musty

We liked the location but found ourselves fixing door knobs that were falling off, drawer knobs being screwed back on and toilet paper holders missing. We did not realize that the other room was downstairs because the pictures we saw did not indicate that.. When we got there we had to call to get instructions on how to enter downstairs because we were not told prior to arrival. Also air conditioners should not be preset to turn up to 80 degrees when it is set at a different temperature before going to bed. Trash cans smelled awful.. I would suggest you leave some cleaning supplies so counters can be wiped during stays there.

Wonderful

The home was comfortable and inviting. We were disappointed as the fourth bedroom with 2 beds was actually a separate apartment like area on the bottom level with its own entrance. This was a little misleading as the kids were going to be staying in this room and were unable to given the nature of the location and not being connected to the home. It was nice to have private fenced in yard. There was plenty of room for all of to enjoy dinner and relax in the living area.
