This place felt like home. nice and cozy everything you need, everything in the area is within 1 hour or less. Boone,blowing rock,grandfather mountain, hickory, Quiet neighborhood. Would definitely come back here again!

Cozy fun place

Everything was all setup for us when we arrived. The host supplied towels, laundry pods, dish soap scrubber, and more. It is a cute place and very comfortable. Resturants are closer by. My girlfirend and I had a great time there. we would recommend this place for singles/couples/families!!

Love the cottage on Cherry Street!

This was our second visit! Great location, close to Hickory and Lenoir and a short drive to the Boone/Blowing Rock area. Definitely our go to place when visiting the area.

Family Getaway

This home was perfect for the weekend. My kids could run and play outside, and the home was so clean. Felt like we were at home. The decorations were beautiful, and it’s in a great location! Definitely will be booking to stay again.

2nd time staying here

We had such a great time at Cherry St. Cottage the first time, we came back for a second stay!As mentioned in my previous review, the location is excellent, the house is beautifully decorated and stocked with just about anything you need. The host responded quickly to any questions via text and was very welcoming.We'll definitely try to stay here next time we're in town!

Awesome stay at Cherry St Cottage!

Our group of four stayed over Christmas and the house was unexpectedly and beautifully decorated for the holidays -- and some of the items were even handcrafted.We found the house to be perfect for our needs -- a few of most everything we needed were provided and easily accessible -- laundry pods and dryer sheets, dishwasher tabs, toilet paper, and paper towels. There were even plenty of towels and dish cloths! (things that are sometimes in short supply in rentals). If you want to cook during your stay, almost any basic cooking utensil, pot or pan is also provided.We really loved it and hope to stay again when in the area to visit family!

Fantastic Cottage

With family in town for the holidays, we needed a little extra space. This cottage was just what we needed. The location is very convenient and the cottage is very well kept, very clean, well decorated, and just overall a very nice place. Loved it!!!

Home is just as described, clean, very well kept . Communication excellent. Quite clean area we felt safe. Because I was traveling with a teenager it would have been nice to have a TV in the queen bedroom.

Cherry Street Cottage is one of the cleanest, most comfortable places we have ever stayed. We arrived on the heels of Hurricane Helene, and Peggy, our host, went above and beyond even before we arrived to welcome us and make sure we had everything we needed. I think Peggy would have come over to bring us anything missing, but there was no need. The cottage was well-supplied with absolutely everything. I will be raving about this great house and host and will definitely recommend both to my friends who will be visiting the Mitford Museum in the coming months.
