Property would have gotten a 5 star review (lovely setting on Lake Granbury, comfortable room, walking distance to charming historic center) but for two things: nice green space around hotel for walking dog with pet waste bins overflowing and pet waste bag dispenser empty (I bring my own bags but many don't) and (on the same theme) trash cans on either side of the front door were overflowing. Hilton management should know better!

My room had candies leftover from a previous guest, and the bathroom floor had lint residues. The pool was not heated, the water was cloudy and there was hairs floating in the water in which we were getting tangled while swimming. Pretty gross. There is no cleaning staff during the evenings /nights. I requested for my room to be thoroughly cleaned at least the next morning, and all that the cleaning crew did was to find the towels, empty the trash and open the curtains. The candy was still in the same place on the floor, the mini bar counter was now sticky and the bathroom floor was still dirty. Since I booked through Orbitz, I knew they would not help me as ai had a similar experience at another Hilton in a different town. Ahh, and when I was checking out, my baby had a cut in his hand and he was bleeding so I asked for a band aid and they said they could sell me one from their first aid kit or I could go buy one (so did not care at all about their baby guest needs). Almost forgot, half of the amenities were out of service the first night I was there.

Hate that housekeeping staff doesnt at least replace soap, towels, etc daily. Mediocre food in the restaurant.

Comfortable, quiet room! Restaurant was hugely disappointing. Horrible service. Had to keep going to the bar (the bartender was the only wait staff) for everything - menus, drinks, placing order. After a 40 minute wait on food, found out our order hadn’t even been sent to the kitchen. Had to leave and find somewhere else to eat.

This is a nice hotel, but the carpet, wallpaper, etc. in the common areas and hallways are in need of updating and replacement. The staff were all super friendly and helpful.

As happens on busy weekends, for our first night stay we had to be walked to another hotel. The staff was incredible in making things right for us during this inconvenience. my highest compliments to their efforts.

Spent the previous night at a less than desirable hotel, so relocated to Hilton Garden Inn the next day. What a pleasant change! The hotel is very nice, fireplace in lobby and they always have complimentary coffee available. The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable, which has always been my experience with Hilton Garden Inns. This hotel is within walking distance of Granbury town square, which is a must for unique gifts and shopping, and is situated on Lake Granbury with outside wraparound deck. The best hotel in town!

The bed was rock hard. Worst bed in a hotel that I have ever experienced. Also the walls are thin. Could hear person in next room snoring all night. Terrible stay.

Very nice stay, beautiful views of the lake. Friendly, courteous and helpful staff. I enjoyed my stay.

Get the lake view room! On the negative side, I was charged the $25 amenity fee twice. Got half of it back but I'm still waiting for the other half. The clerk who checked me in said my granddaughter could eat free at the breakfast buffet. The next morning, I was informed it would be $5.95 for her. To their credit, the staff did let her eat free.

The hotel was great. Its just a short walk from the downtown square, and a great view of the lake. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Was not a big fan of the adjustable bed, but other than that everything was great.
