Beautiful view of the mountains

Overall everything was fine. I thought the cabin was larger than what’s shown in pictures. There was a smell in the upstairs bathroom. A little mold in in the shower on the lower floor. Bathrooms needs to be upgraded. But overall my family enjoyed their stay.

Birthday trip

We had a great time on our trip. The house fit our needs perfectly. We took advantage of the deck that made it feel like you were in a treehouse watching the birds. We played pool, watched movies and sat in the hot tub. They left us with plenty of towels and the kitchen had everything we needed including kitchen spray and some spices. Although, we ate out plenty including a restaurant the hosts suggested. On our way in we stopped for a mama bear with 3 cubs in the road (from a safe distance). What a wonderful welcoming! We loved our Gatlinburg trip and this house made it even more special and cozy.

Pictures and description is false! Not worth the cost! Owner is a child

So we were really excited about our trip. My daughter feel in love with this cabin based on the pictures and info. We arrived and the property is very grown over and creepy to even go into. That’s is no view at all like the pictures show and the description reads in the title. We couldn’t even use the full deck because it was so overgrown. The photographer who took pics did a great job because this place is much darker, older and dated than the pics show. It’s a basic cabin. The entertainment room has a really old and badly positioned pool table that you can’t really use as the space is too small. The showers are super short especially upstairs. The septic tank needs attention and my daughter was cooking one morning and a cabinet door feel on her head! I texted the owner when we arrived about how the view was nonexistent and he was misrepresenting his property. He acted like a child and basically was a victim saying my review would ruin his businesses not even offering to edit his post for future guest or do ask what he could do to make this right. Then when I texted him on the septic smell and the cabinet door falling off he ignored me completely. Childish. We left a day early because the septic smell was so bad. This place has potential but is not worth the price and is total misrepresentation of what you will actually get. Read the review from 7/31 as well she had a similar experience. I’ve never left a bad review on a vacation home before so I don’t do this lightly.

Typically cabin, with NO VIEWS!

The Pros: The lay out was nice. A lot of room for our family of six to spread out. The hot tub was great. I wish there would have been beach towels to use and a drying rack to hang the wet swim suits. The theater room our family enjoyed. It was dark and had nice big bean bags for the kids and a ton of DVD options. The kitchen had enough items to make small meals for what we wanted. I wish there was basic spices like salt and pepper and cooking spray. The negatives: The views in the pictures were NOT what we expected. The trees were over grown and you had zero views of the mountains (went in July), you had zero views of anything really and that was not how the pictures looked online. We were bummed because that was something we wanted when selecting our VRBO. If views don’t matter, then you’ll be fine. It’s also not as bright and light like the pictures show. It’s your typical cabin style house. The biggest issue was the master bathroom upstairs had a sewer gas issue and it smelled awful. We ended up not using it at all and kept the door closed to keep the smell down and used the main floor bathroom. The homeowners will need to address the plumbing issues.

Awesome getaway

Cozy mountain getaway. Great amenities, clean, plenty of towels and such beautiful surroundings. Only thing I had trouble locating was a iron and ironing board.Which was a minor. Love it.

Lovely cabin- not the best summer time views

This cabin was a wonderful gem tucked in the beautiful mountains. It was very clean and well-kept. However, sadly we booked this because of the views of the mountains. Due to the trees growing up, (very obviously during summer and probably a few years after the picture used for the listing) we couldn’t see the mountains from the deck. The leaves were too thick. This was extremely disappointing as the photos used on the listing can be misleading. If you’re going in the summer time, don’t expect to wake up and drink a cup of Joe while gazing at the mountains. You’ll simply be staring at trees. However, the drive up to the cabin does provide stellar and breathtaking views. This cabin doesn’t stock too much in the way of supplies or toiletries, but that’s ok. We bought our own. The king beds were amazingly comfortable. Hands down the most comfy beds we’ve stayed at during vacation. The kids were NEVER bored. Board games. Hot tub, pool table and theatre room truly provide lots to do! I only docked a star on the review because we were very sad about the lack of the view of the mountains from the deck. It was what we wanted the most. But everything else checks out and in the winter, it would hit all of our boxes! Would I recommend? Yes.

Great family vacation

We had a great stay at this cabin! Everything was so clean, had lots of extra towels, kitchen had lots of utensils and It had everything we needed. The downstairs with the pool table, media room, and hot tub was great. It was the perfect size for two couples, one, single, and two very young children. We even met a bear as we were packing up to go, which was the icing on the cake! I would highly recommend this cabin.

Needs some upkeep and a better cleaning crew

The place wasn’t bad. For the money we paid it could have been better. TV downstairs was broken, the pool table doesn’t have enough room around it to actually play pool. Both decks were very plain and could use nicer patio furniture. All of the board games were a mess when we arrived, not neatly put away and some were damaged. The extra blankets for the pull out bed were just thrown in the closet and we couldn’t tell how clean they actually were (a dirty vacuum stacked right on top of it. There were extra pillows (that were needed) in the closet but no pillow cases for them. I messaged the host on the first night to ask if there was a baby gate because we have a special needs child and there are so many stairs and received no response. The cleaning crew is really not the best and the quality was just not there for me to pay nearly as much as I did.

Cozy cabin

We rented the cabin for a girls weekend. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the cabin was cozy and comfortable. It was a relaxing time in the mountains.

Nice place for a mountain getaway

Lots of space and great views. Your about a 10 minute drive away from town. Don’t forget toiletries as they are a minimum. ( which they should be). I would stay here again.

This Cabin made our Vacation

We could not have had a better cabin for our vacation. We have 6 children including 4 teenagers. The theater room ,game room and jacuzzi were a hit with our entire family. Our boys ended up sleeping in the theater room everynight. There was no fighting over what to watch on TV because there were 3 TV's,with very comfortable seating. I had to pull my husband off the pool table every morning and evening playing with the kids and enjoying their time together. With a large family someone is always on top of the other but this was never the case. After using the jacuzzi,the kids would come right inside off the balcony downstairs and take a shower and put their towels and clothes straight into the washer, which makes fot a happy Momma. Their wet clothes never made it upstairs to be in the way of traffic. We weren't able to cook while there but there was everything we needed if we wanted to. We could not have had better property managers. I texted late,they texted right back. I texted early they texted right back. We would 100% with out a doubt book this property again and recommend it to all our friends. Thank you for your efficiency of accommodations we would need while on the entire trip. Thank you again for this smooth booking.

Great vacay spot

It is a great stay for kids and adults. There is so much to do! They have board games, the game room, the theater room and the hot tub. There was NEVER a boring moment. The view was nice, it was a great home away from home. The owners are quick to respond, so that's a plus! Highly recommend!

Great place!!

House was beautiful and well kept! Fun game room, inviting theater room, and cute details throughout the house. Owner was extremely responsive! Only reason for the 4 stars was that we couldn’t use the theater room as it wouldn’t connect which was extremely disappointing, especially since it was one of the main reasons we booked this location.

Perfect weekend getaway

We stayed at this cabin over a holiday weekend with family and 4 children. The kids never got bored because there was so much for them to do and play with in the cabin. The view from the back deck was beautiful and the best part of the cabin! I also loved the amount of extra pillows and blankets there were. It made our stay even more comfortable! We can't wait to go back!
