This property was lovely for our group. 11 childhood friends of over 55 years. The house has an amazing dining room/kitchen and it was quite wonderful to find friends scattered through all the rooms and on the patio visiting. The location being a block off the main drag allowed everyone to come and go as they wanted with who they wanted. It was the perfect place for our GP Gals to get together for another slumber party.

Perfect location and just a block away from Main St. This house has a lot of charm and such an interesting history. This house accommodated our family well and is situated conveniently to the marketplace, shops, and dining. Check-in was easy with good communication with the owner. Highlyrecommend!

The proximity to everything in Fredericksburg was unmatched and the house was absolutely adorable! So tastefully decorated and perfectly clean. Melissa was a wonderful host, responsive and flexible! Would love to stay here again.

A lovely stay at the Hummingbird house! Location is awesome and easy walk to Main Street. Enjoyed the history of the home and the sitting area outside. Home is well appointed and very clean and comfortable. The host is wonderful as well - highly recommend!

Girls trip

Loved the house…..very clean, quiet. Easy to walk to shops and restaurants. Felt safe. Only problem was the top floor was warm. 88 degrees one day we were there…don’t know if a/c was not adjusted correctly, or what…instructions on how to use it, and the fan would have been appreciated.

Planned my husband’s 50th. Host was easy to work with and I was able to arrange for cake and balloons to be waiting. House was charming and perfect for quick getaway. We rented the cottage as well and it was beautiful. Great centralized location!

Great for large groups!

All I can say is, fabulous! We stayed at Hummingbird Haus for a friend’s bachelorette weekend. There was 10 of us total and we had plenty of room. One quick stop by HEB and the house had everything else. The location is ideal and a quick walk to main street for the shops. 10/10 recommend, especially for larger groups.

We stayed here for my younger sister’s bachelorette weekend and it was perfect! We loved the history and charm of the house, the beds were comfy, and the location was unbeatable. We were able to walk everywhere! Highly recommend if you’re taking a big group to Fredericksburg!
