The Jeanine was a charming, cozy cottage that immediately welcomed you. Our recommendations would be to have someone monitor, the day of arrival, that the tv could be readily accessed upon arrival. We waited two nights before we could use the tv. The bathroom was wonderful to the eye. Suggestions would be to install a soap dish, handles to facilitate entrance and exit to the shower for the older population and places to put shampoo, etc. It was difficult to complete a shower without the usual shower accommodations. The dishes in the cupboard, glasses and bowls, tasted as if the had been clean with something other than a dishsoap. There was definitely a ‘perfume’ taste to the items used. Thank you, so much, for providing a lovely porch to relax on!

Awesome place to stay!

The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because it is so bright inside. When you come on vacation you want to sleep in somedays but without blackout curtains the sun comes in really bright in the mornings. And it makes it hard to take an afternoon nap. Everything else including the hot tub was amazing!

Nice getaway

This was a very nice and romantic place to stay at. It’s right off the main strip and within a 15 minute drive to basically everything to do in the area. Easy to book and help staff was quick to respond and very helpful. Definitely recommend

This was our first visit to Fredericksburg and Bijou Jeanine. This location is great and is a short walk or drive to the best restaurants and shops in town. I can't say enough good things about this place.

Romantic getaway for two

Beautiful duplex with a kitchenette- mini fridge for the restaurant leftovers and bottles of bubbly. King bed was soft and plush great sleep all together!! Loved the backyard space - we enjoyed the hot tub in 45 degree weather under the stars - hot tub could be hotter but still enjoyed! We stayed for NYE and NY - neighbors put on a firework display we were able to watch from the couch with a cozy fire going 💖 thanks for a wonderful stay and the memories we made!

Great little getaway!

We had a great time in Fredericksburg starting at Absolute Charm. House was exactly as described. Spacious enough for 2 adults. Large bathroom and cute little kitchen. Best thing was the porch swing! My only recommendation would be a shelf in the bathroom shower.

Great getaway

Loved this house, yard was so pretty and house was charming. There was construction going on in the back but it wasn’t too bad. Our only complaint was that the couch was very stained and dirty, had to put a blanket over it to sit on and the porch swing needs to be vacuumed or swept off but it was very nice sitting out on the porch swing and the hot tub was great without too much chlorine smell but very clean and enjoyable.

Confusion

The morning before we left for Fredericksburg we were notified that the property we had selected was not available due to a gas leak. We were given 2 choices as a replacement. We did not like the choices but took the Cabin on Hackberry instead of the other place because of stairs at the other place. We think we should have been given the opportunity to reschedule at our original choice at another date. We left a day early due to the weather and the location and the layout of the replacement property. We think you should give us a credit for use at the property we wanted at another time.

Wonderful little cottage!

Our stay could not have been more perfect. The cottage is clean and beautiful, location is great, and the whole process was so easy. I even left my IPad and work cell phone and they immediately called to let me know and are shipping it to me. We will definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful home in charming neighborhood

Historic property was nicely redone with modern conveniences but retained the original feel of a century old home. Would highly recommend if you are visiting Fredericksburg.
