House - Resort Pool & Ocean Access

Enjoy your private resort-style pool on a Gulf-access canal, this home has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, laundry, and a 2-car garage. Located in the quiet Iona neighborhood; 10 minutes from Sanibel, 15 minutes from Fort Myers Beach, and 25 minutes from Downtown.

**Please Note: The house is undamaged from the storm, however there is some fencing down and we are unsure when the fence will be replaced with high labor demands in the area.

The Space:
The home has a master bedroom with a private bathroom and the 2 guest rooms share a common bathroom which is accessible from the backyard. The open floorplan unifies the kitchen and living space and has plenty of windows offering natural light and views of the backyard. TV with basic cable, bringing a smart TV/streaming device to connect via HDMI/Wi-Fi is recommended.

The dock is on a saltwater canal with Gulf access.

The backyard has ample space, patio furniture, and a propane grill available. The Grotto and foliage surrounding the fenced-in backyard gives plenty of privacy making the pool a real centerpiece to the home's experience.

The pool does NOT have a jacuzzi/hot tub, there is a daily fee to heat the entire pool due to gas costs. This saltwater pool has a beach-style entry, fountain, large sun-shelf, waterfalls cascading over the grotto and seating area, as well as fiber optic lighting. The pool systems run on automated timers and do NOT need manual operation however the pool lighting can be remote controlled to the guest's desire.

There’s a 2-car garage available and the driveway can fit up to 4 cars.

Other Details:
Disclosure: There are 6 security cameras around the exterior of the house covering the entrances, pool, dock, and canal. The cameras are for security and liability protection for both the guests and owner in the case an incident should occur (theft, damage, tampered equipment, etc.).

Location/Getting Around:
The house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood that is NOT within easy walking distance to shopping or restaurants, however the nearest shopping is Sanibel Outlets (2 miles away) and the nearest beach is Bunche Beach (3 miles away).
The vacation home is air-conditioned and features a kitchen, 2 bathrooms, and a furnished balcony or patio, and there's space to spread out with 3 bedrooms. Guests can enjoy a TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a private pool, a washing machine, and a sofa bed.

Very clean and spacious home with special pool

Our host Gabriel was very kind, helpful and responsive. The house was very clean and spacious. The pool is fabulous though the birds like it too so some kind of mobile to deter them should be considered. My senior parents found the queen beds too hard but I very much enjoyed my room with two single beds. The location was convenient to all amenities and Sanibel Island that we needed to frequent to manage our washed out condo. Gabriel if you would add a kettle and a salad spinner to your otherwise well stocked kitchen that would be appreciated. We'd definitely come back!

Overall, my family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and in a great location. The pool out back is gorgeous. Unfortunately, the heater was out of oil so the water was a little chilly, but the property manager was very accommodating. I would absolutely stay here again in the future and would recommend to others.

Family time in Fort Myers at entertainers paradise on channel with resort pool!

Our family stayed for 5 nights at this beautiful resort pool home on a channel conveniently located to restaurants, shopping and Fort Myers Beach. Yes...we went to Fort Myers Beach to enjoy a beach day and food trucks in Times Square. We wanted to show our support to the local area, a place we have been visiting for over 30 years. Our kids grew up visiting Fort Myers Beach and now they are in college. It was important for us to have them see the devastation in person and spend a morning walking the beach and picking up trash that continues to wash ashore. This home had everything you need in a kitchen for entertaining, including special spices that were great on our steaks. Rooms are large and bedrooms are well appointed. The host was very responsive and easy to get ahold of. We will rent here again the next time our family goes to Fort Myers!

Fort Myers Fun steps away from Iona

This location is perfect for all boaters and anyone looking to stay close to Ft. Myers Everything is about 10min drive. It doesn't matter where you want to go in the area its close by. The best part for us was using the boat dock so we can dock our water vessel and the pool feels like a getaway.... Looking to come back soon...

Insane pool

We had a great time in this property! The pool looks insane and the house was very clean and well equipped for anything you might need. Located close to the beach you can enjoy fishing, kayaking or just stay at home by the pool. We had a minor inconvenience but was handled appropriately by the property manager. Be sure to request pool heater ahead of time if you will need it.

Beautiful Property in Great Location

This was a very pleasant and fun filled 3 night stay. Iona paradise was simply amazing. The Bunche beach was close and a fun bike ride. Sanibel was also nice with the beaches and fishing pier. It was also good fishing right off of the dock of the house. Especially if you like crab and catfish. Lol. Definitely 5 stars and we did not want to leave.

Vacation in Paradise!

We LOVED out stay at Iona Paradise and would recommend this property! The outdoor area is the asset of this home and it looks and feels even more amazing than the photos and there are more chairs than shown. The waterfalls/fountains are on timers that start at 10:30am and off at 7:00. There is an option to heat the pool for a small additional fee which we took advantage of since our stay was in February and we would recommend using this feature. The dock has a beautiful view down the canal especially in the morning. The kitchen had everything we needed during the stay and the beds are firm which we liked. There is a small grill, single burner, works great until you run out of propane! Keep in mind during your stay if you like to grill to check the propane. There is no gauge or extra tank. However, VRBO reimburses you if you fill it up. The location is great and easy to get around. The host, Gabriel, was responsive to our needs and kept in touch. There are a few restaurants within a 6-minute drive that we can recommend: The Lighthouse Waterfront restaurant (we loved the gator tail appetizer), the Deep Lagoon Seafood and Oyster House (there is a floating dock/pier that is part of their outdoor seating that is a great place to dine and watch the sunset), La Casita if you like Mexican food and Mythos Authentic Greek Cuisine. You will have a great time at Iona Paradise!
