This was a cozy, yet spacious cabin in which to spend Thanksgiving weekend. Loft was great for kids to share sleeping space. The fireplace was great in the evenings.

This was a great stay! What a beautiful home. It was large enough to fit our whole group with plenty of space while still maintaining cozy cabin vibes. The property is beautiful too. Suited with all the amenities we needed. Overall, the place was very clean minus minor dusting and sweeping that was missed. The beds were a little uncomfortable (hard, not enough cushion), but to be expected at a rental. This place was perfect for a fall getaway and great location for central Door County. Less than 10 minute drive from downtown Fish Creek and Ephraim. I had no interactions with the host (which is fine by me) so can’t speak to customer service but they do go through a 2nd party site so unsure how personable/good/timely that would be. Place is pricey, check in time is a little late and check out a little early, but overall, very happy and would stay again for a group setting.

On a girls weekend we stayed at the log cabin. We loved it and would return! Clean, spacious and beautiful! We did have issues with the lock box at the front door which was the only negative. We did get a quick response to help with that which was appreciated.

Disappointing

Disappointed in the front lawn, could use mulch all around the area. The campfire area could have a clear distinct path; in fact, my daughter-in-law slipped and bruised her ribs. There were no kitchen towels in the kitchen; we had to find hand towels to dry dishes. We played bags and the deck is very slippery, it could use a good coat of whatever you put on a deck and we were without power from 4 PM until 4:10 AM. Hope to hear from you regarding this past weekend.

Stunning log cabin

This home is fabulous, we had a wonderful time there. The interior and exterior are beautiful, perfectly fitting into the Door County woods. Our family of 9 included grandparents, parents, children and also 2 dogs. We could all be together enjoying popcorn and a movie by the fireplace with plenty of room for everyone. The same was also true for eating meals together at the dining room table, we all had a place to sit. If we didn’t want to be with everyone else, there were many other rooms to spend time alone in. All of us loved our stay at the Log Cabin of Fish Creek and hope to return again.

Celebrating Fall Family Birthdays

We enjoyed the privacy of the home and its location was suited well for us to enjoy a couple meals at favorite spots around Door Co. It was also nice to be able to bring the family pooch and the bedroom configuration fill our needs. There was an issue with not being able to use some of the electrical outlets. Plenty of local spots to pick up firewood and we did enjoy the fireplace.

Fites Family vacation

The basement was musty smelling. The shower handle was broken upstairs. A couple of drawers were broken in the over the garage room which we couldn’t use the tv because a remote was missing Overall we had a wonderful time and the house was beautiful. We loved it

Weekend in Door County

Everything was good other than the bugs inside. We even had a bee and wasp. The other flying insects were coming through the gaps from the window air units.

Absolutely perfect “up north” vacation

I don’t think we could have found a better place to stay! First off, the house was even better than what the pictures show, the beds are larger and very comfortable! The home can comfortably sleep a large group. Not only did we feel like we were staying in a hallmark movie, but the owners were amazing! Very kind and reasonable. We plan to come back here many times in the future! I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Beautiful cabin

Beautiful, large comfortable cabin in a wooded area with lots of windows. Well stocked with plenty of bedding, towels etc. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Family Vacation

We had a mini vacation with our sons and their girlfriends and absolutely had the best time together. Enjoyed playing games together at night and sightseeing during the day. Our only complaint is it wasn't long enough. A couple of minor issues: more bath/kitchen towels, better lighting above kitchen table for games at night, more frying pans for a larger group and better sharp knives. (As a chef, they are the worst knives I have ever used). Thank you, we would definitely recommend and will be back in the future!! ❤️

Perfect fall cabin in the woods

Absolutely loved this house and the property. Beds were very comfortable, kitchen supplies were well stocked. The open floor plan and abundance of chairs and couches was the perfect set up for our group of 10 to all be able to talk and spend time together. We read in a previous review that towels were short so we brought extras just in case. Very lucky we did as only 6 towels were left for our group of 10. This was the only negative about the house, but one we planned for so it didn't negatively impact our trip.

Door Delight

We had the family from Britain with us as well as our extended family. Lots of kids from 1-5. The house was wonderful and well stocked. We had great fun introducing the Brits to S'mores around the fire pit. It is such a great location to get to all the towns and beaches. It was peaceful. The fireplace was great in the big room. Such a lovely house.

Cabin in the Woods

We absolutely loved the property! It was a great getaway for our family. The only complaint was amount of towels. I would advice bringing extra towels and washcloths for kitchen. We would definitely stay there again!

Covered every need

We traveled to fish creek with two other families. 6 parents and 5 kids in total and it was the perfect house for us. The parents hung out on the screened in porch each night to enjoy the night air with no bugs. My family had a 1 year old and the house was equipped with baby gates to keep our little one safe. Highly recommend!
